<div>**DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK ARE REQUIRED**
The Counter Sales Representative&rsquo;s primary responsibility is to ensure satisfaction of customers in the customer service area and in handling customer telephone inquiries, by selling and servicing the customer promptly and courteously. The Counter Sales Representative must also work with all company personnel to ensure quality customer service.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Assist the warehouse with cycle counting as needed.</li><li>
Render prompt and satisfactory service to customers at the customer service area and to those calling by telephone, providing prices and product application information.</li><li>
Provide warranty and delivery information as needed.</li><li>
Inform customers of promotions, volume purchasing and other incentives (as appropriate).</li><li>
Pick orders from the warehouse to service and sell to counter customers and process sales transactions.</li><li>
Stay current on new products and apply knowledge of product usage in selling additional materials to the customer.</li><li>
Answer stock availability questions.</li><li>
Keep Management advised of items frequently requested by customers that are not in stock.</li><li>
Investigate and resolve, if possible, customer complaints and report complaints to Management.</li><li>
Maintain good housekeeping (sweep, mop, clean windows, etc.) in customer service area and display areas; arrange displays and stock.</li><li>
Assist in filling orders from the warehouse as needed.</li><li>
Complete quotes as needed.</li><li>
Assist all Team Members with other duties, as may be deem necessary.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>
Quickly learn organization procedures and operations</li><li>
Possess the ability to multi-task; be pulled away from projects and return to follow through completely</li><li>
Possess a high level of attention to detail</li><li>
Proficiency in related applications in the WISE system</li><li>
Physically handle material weighting up to 50 pounds</li><li>
Analyze administrative details and correct routine error situations</li><li>
Must work well with other people. Help management, co-workers, customers and others meet their objectives and complete their assignments.</li></ul>
