Description: Responsible for monitoring merchandise leaving the warehouse and ensuring customers receive items ordered in a timely manner. An ideal candidate thrives in an environment that requires attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to switch quickly between tasks. Tasks include creating shipping documents such as invoices, purchase orders, SLIs, and BOLs, and learning software from different shipping entities, including solving software-related problems. Must be able to prioritize production activities with Respool and OQC for OTS. May include acting as a liaison between customers and the company to ensure that products and documents are received quickly and efficiently. 
KPI's 
Annual KPI's will be established with assistance from the Production Control Supervisor. Establishing and meeting KPIs are essential requirements of this position.

Required Qualifications: 
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 
 
Preferred Qualifications (Import/Export &amp; Compliance) 
We are especially interested in candidates who can strengthen our shipping knowledge in the following areas:<ul><li>
ECCN / Export Controls: Working knowledge of export classification (ECCN) and export documentation; able to support classifications and compliance data when we act as exporter of record, including coordination with internal stakeholders and our customs broker.</li><li>
HTS / Tariff classification: Experience assigning or validating HTS codes and understanding tariff/duty impacts when we are responsible for classification; able to partner with a broker to confirm classifications and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>
ACE portal / U.S. customs processes: Familiarity with the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and common customs-entry data elements; able to perform applicable ACE-related activities and/or provide accurate data to our broker for entry.</li><li>
Customs issue resolution: Proven ability to troubleshoot and &ldquo;unstick&rdquo; delayed international shipments (e.g., holds, missing documentation, exams) by driving timely communication with customers (for customer-routed freight), freight forwarders, and our customs broker.</li><li>
International shipping documentation: Experience preparing and validating commercial invoices, certificates of origin, AES/EEI workflows (as applicable), and other documents required by destination, Incoterms, and broker/customer requirements; ensures data accuracy to prevent delays.</li></ul>
Physical &amp; Environmental Requirements:
 
The production environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities. This is a &ldquo;Safety First&rdquo; facility P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions. The noise generated within the facility is moderate but sometimes using certain equipment may require hearing protection. Employees frequently work on or around moving and heated equipment sometimes with extreme temperatures.

Description: The Quality Engineer is responsible for the performance and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and overall product quality. This role drives root cause problem solving, reduces cost of poor quality, and ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. The position partners cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes, increase first pass yield, supplier development and support scalable growth in a high-mix, custom wire &amp; cable manufacturing environment. 
 
Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
 
<ul><li>Own and maintain the ISO 9001 QMS, including document control, audits, and management review support. Develop standardized work for critical to quality characteristics</li><li>Lead and facilitate 8D corrective actions for internal, external, and supplier issues</li><li>Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC, and PDCA</li><li>Drive reduction in scrap, COPQ, and partners with operations to improve first pass yield</li><li>Lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001, UL, ASTM, customer audits)</li><li>Define, standardize and improve in-process inspection methods and controls</li><li>Manage First Article Inspections and customer quality submissions</li><li>Monitor and report quality metrics (PPM, scrap, Cpk, rework)</li><li>Support calibration, MSA, SPC, and automated inspection/test systems</li><li>Train employees on quality requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul> 

Required Qualifications: 
<ul><li>ISO 9001, CAPA, nonconformance management, and internal auditing</li><li>Quality tools: 8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA, control plans, statistical analysis</li><li>Manufacturing processes: wire &amp; cable, extrusion, assembly, electrical and mechanical testing</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills</li><li>Proficiency with MRP/ERP, Microsoft 365 and quality data systems</li></ul>
Education &amp; Experience: 
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or equivalent experience</li><li>Six Sigma Green Belt preferred (or demonstrated experience with structured problem-solving)</li><li>Thermocouple wire/high-temp materials / fluoropolymer experience is a plus</li></ul> 

Physical &amp; Environmental Requirements:
