Job SummaryWCCTV is experiencing tremendous growth in the Dallas / Forth Worth metroplex. We are currently hiring an experienced Field Technician for our Installation &amp; Service department. Primary responsibilities of the position include the installation, de-installation, repair and maintenance of mobile surveillance / security equipment at customer locations.This position is located onsite at our U.S. headquarters in Richardson, TX. Must be able to work overtime of a regular daily basis as well as on Saturday on a rotational basis (one Saturday per month).Primary Responsibilities1. Installation of Wireless CCTV Systems<ul><li>Reviews installation schedule confirms and tests products before deployment.</li><li>Programs surveillance cameras / routers and related equipment in advance of installation.</li><li>Drives to customer sites, delivers and installs Solar Surveillance Trailers and/or CCTV cameras ensuring systems are properly installed and operating prior to customer sign off. May conduct site survey prior to installation.</li><li>Completes all installation paperwork and obtains customer sign off as required. Responds to customer questions regarding system operations as needed.</li><li>Interfaces with onsite customers or subcontractors on new installations and service calls.</li><li>Interfaces with internal Customer Service and Production departments on customer orders, installation information or related items.</li><li>Manages tools &amp; vehicle inventory on daily basis ensuring properly equipped for all installation or repair tasks.</li><li>Adheres to all field safety requirements of Wireless CCTV and its customers.</li></ul>2. Field Service and De-Installation of Equipment<ul><li>Performs service and/or maintenance of WCCTV products at customer locations. Addresses and resolves customer's technical product issues through fault diagnosis, troubleshooting &amp; maintenance of low voltage CCTV systems.</li><li>Responsible for the de-installation/decommission of solar surveillance trailers at customer sites and delivery of trailers back to WCCTV's depot.</li></ul>3. Business Improvement<ul><li>Assists in the implementation of improvements wherever possible to reduce costs and improve efficiency.</li><li>Assists in updating Production, Installation and Service processes and documentation.</li></ul>Education and Experience Requirements:Education<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Electronics or low‑voltage certification preferred</li></ul>Technical &amp; Professional Skills<ul><li>Intermediate knowledge of Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV/Video Surveillance systems</li><li>Intermediate understanding of computer networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, gateways, routers, and switches</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation</li><li>Proficiency with basic computer applications, including MS Office and PC‑based diagnostic software</li><li>Strong time management, planning, organizational, and multitasking skills in a hands‑on field environment</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal staff</li><li>Must hold a valid state driver&rsquo;s license with a satisfactory driving record</li><li>Ability to meet physical requirements, including driving, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, reaching, color differentiation, and fine motor/hand dexterity</li><li>Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum of 2&ndash;3 years of hands‑on professional experience installing and servicing alarm, access control, CCTV, and related low‑voltage electronic systems</li><li>Demonstrated experience with low‑voltage system installation, service, and electrical troubleshooting</li><li>Hands‑on experience installing alarms, access control, and electronics: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Hands‑on experience servicing alarms, access control, and electronics: 2 years (Required)</li><li>CCTV system installation and service: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Working experience with TCP/IP networking: 3 years (Required)</li><li>Network installation experience: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Starting hourly rate of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour for highly experienced candidates having the required skills and industry experience.</li><li>Company provided medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and life insurance plans.</li><li>401k Plan with Company match of up to 4% and immediate vesting.</li><li>10 days paid vacation (increases with length of service) + seven (7) paid Company holidays.</li></ul>Company OverviewWireless CCTV, LLC (&ldquo;WCCTV&rdquo;) located in Richardson, Texas, is the market leader for rapid deployment, mobile surveillance systems specifically designed to deliver video securely and efficiently via 4G LTE networks.
