Job Description 
We&rsquo;re looking for a Product Manager to own all of our banking partner payment integrations in APAC. 
 
This is a new team being spun up to centralise ownership of our dozens of banking partner integrations in APAC. As a central owner of these integrations you&rsquo;ll focus on the highest impact expansion, and driving technical and operating efficiencies. Your work will culminate in faster and cheaper transfers for our customers.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Understand our retail and enterprise customer needs: Build an understanding of how payment schemes impact our customers, and use this understanding to drive product decisions.</li><li>
Own dozens of existing payments integrations:<ul><li>
Add new features and functionality through these partners (e.g. confirmation of payee)</li><li>
Monitor and optimise: Use data to track the performance of integrations and drive continuous improvements</li></ul></li><li>
Integrate with new partners: Alongside engineering leads, you&rsquo;ll be leading technical integrations with banking partners.</li><li>
Drive operational excellence: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of these integrations and the internal operations that support them</li><li>
Be the regional subject matter expert for payments. You&rsquo;ll be the regional point of contact for the internal enterprise sales teams. You&rsquo;ll form strong relationships with your peers, evaluate their requests on their merits, and deliver the highest impact changes.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
What You&rsquo;ll Bring<ul><li>
Experience in payment systems: An understanding of payments across product, technical, and commercial aspects. Ideal: experience with 'account-to-account' payments.</li><li>
Product management expertise: Proven track record of leading end-to-end product initiatives, from ideation to delivery.</li><li>
Analytical mindset: Ability to use data to make informed decisions and track performance metrics.</li><li>
Customer focus: A passion for building products that solve real customer problems.</li></ul>

Product Manager - APAC Payments

Here s how you ll be contributing to the MEA Regulatory Product Compliance and Risk team, in the first line:
<ul>
<li>Collaborate on Product Design:
<ul>
<li>Empower Product Teams to build risk based products, processes, and controls;</li>
<li>Collaborate to design practical and customer-oriented product solutions while ensuring full compliance of the product;</li>
<li>Perform pre-launch and ongoing product compliance legal and regulatory analysis and risk assessments;</li>
<li>Design scalable and customer-centric solutions to regulatory requirements; and</li>
<li>Offer effective advice to Product Managers on existing and forthcoming Regulations, gaps, and risks.</li>
</ul>

</ul>
Manage and Mitigate Regulatory Risks and the Control Environment:
<ul>
<li>As part of the MEA Product Compliance &amp; Risk Team, you will identify and manage Regulatory Risks across all products offered to and for customers in the fast growing MEA region;
</li>
<li>Oversee the control environment for MEA, designing effective, creative and targeted controls and evaluating the residual risk exposure;
</li>
<li>Collaborate with Compliance colleagues, to ensure Wise Product Teams are constantly aware of the most recent regulations and guidance; and
</li>
<li>Work with Product Teams and the wider Compliance &amp; Risk Team to implement and maintain Management Information that enables Wise to make informed decisions at the regional and Global levels.
</li>
</ul>
Audit, issue management and remediation:
<ul>
<li>Conduct audit management and, where required, challenge audit findings in collaboration with Compliance second line and Product teams;
</li>
<li>Develop and deliver effective issue management to mitigate regulatory risks;
</li>
<li>Represent Wise in meetings with Banking Partners and Central Banks, being able to clearly and effectively articulate Wise s products and compliance framework.
