Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team. This role is ideal for a passionate advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and committed to delivering top-tier legal representation for our personal injury clients. You will handle a full litigation caseload, with the support of a dedicated team. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Handle and manage Personal Injury files from file through trial.</li>
<li>Work up litigation files from filing the lawsuit, writing discovery and depositions, and trying the case.</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff and other lawyers.</li>
<li>Successfully lead a litigation team of 5 plus people.</li>
<li>Litigate a case from beginning to end.</li>
<li>Have good work ethics and present strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.</li>
<li>Experience in supervising and managing other team members.</li>
<li>Pre-Litigation case management and negotiation experience.</li>
<li>Experience handling cases involving commercial motor vehicles.</li>
<li>Willing to expand knowledge of trucking litigation and obtain board certification in truck accident law.</li>
<li>Willing to work independently yet be accountable.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school</li>
<li>Current member and in good standing of the Texas Bar 
</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis</li>
<li>Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions</li>
<li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
</li><li>Trial experience preferred</li>
<li>Commercial case experience a plus</li>
<li>Experiencing litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases a plus</li>

Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
</li><li>Stationary Position &ndash; Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
</li><li>Move or Traverse &ndash; This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.</li>
<li>Dexterity &ndash; constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
</li><li>Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.</li>
<li>Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.</li>
<li>Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).</li></ul>
