This position is a part-timeTemporary Student Support (TSS) assignment that runs through March – Decemberwith the potential for an extension. This position is hybrid and will require some work onsite. Overall, this role averages20 hours per week. Hours do not have to be consecutive; they can be spread throughout the week.You must be actively enrolled in school throughout the duration of the assignment.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
 
<ul>
<li>Support the development of new Power BI reports and dashboards by gathering requirements, preparing data, and building visualizations that meet team needs.</li>
<li>Manage enhancements and updates for existing Power BI reports, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with evolving business requirements.</li>
<li>Work with data models—including star schema structures, fact tables, and dimension tables—to support scalable and efficient reporting.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot issues related to report performance, data refreshes, data accuracy, and user access.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to existing analytics.</li>
<li>Document reporting processes, data definitions, and dashboard functionality to maintain clear and accessible knowledge resources.</li>
<li>Conduct data validation, quality checks, and basic analysis to ensure reliable reporting outputs.</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and cross‑functional projects related to data and reporting initiatives.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Information Systems.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting/visualization tools, including experience building or modifying dashboards.</li>
<li>Understanding of data modeling concepts, especially star schema, fact tables, and dimension tables.</li>
<li>Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose reporting issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.</li>
<li>Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into user‑friendly explanations.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple reporting tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Comfort working with data sets, spreadsheets, and basic analytical tasks.</li>
<li>Ability to learn new systems, tools, and data structures quickly.</li>
<li>Familiarity with SQL or other query languages.</li>
</ul>

 Plant Engineering Management &ndash; You&rsquo;ll be a key ingredient to our success! You will be leading and directing continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, utilities and facilities maintenance, wastewater treatment, and production control systems. You will ensure effective execution of projects by meeting program objectives, project budgets and schedules. Collaboration is important with corporate engineering, contracted service partners, Plant Operations teams, and Quality teams.

 Strategy &amp; Scorecards &ndash; You will be partnering with Global Engineering to deploy corporate technical business strategies that align them with plant strategies and performance goals. You will be establishing and ensuring achievement of all function-specific Key Performance Indicators and Kellogg Integrated Work Systems continuous improvement efforts.

 Budget Management &ndash; You will be committed to having an owner&rsquo;s mindset in this role, and financial success plays a big part. You will be managing, preparing, and justifying expenses and capital budgets for the Engineering department.

 Compensation Insights
 
 
 
 Base Salary Range
 
 
 $146,560.00 - $183,200.00
 
 
 Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate&rsquo;s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
