<div>WKC is looking for Environmental Technicians to join our team in Abu Dhabi. We're open to full-time or part-time arrangements and welcome applications from individuals passionate about wildlife conservation, fieldwork and hands-on ecological research. 
As an Environmental Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our terrestrial ecology team across a range of conservation and monitoring projects, including species translocation initiatives and field-based data collection. 
Key Responsibilities 
Support terrestrial ecology and translocation projects, including:
<ul>
<li>Safe capture, handling and release of wildlife.</li>
<li>Transporting animals in line with welfare guidelines.</li>
<li>Translocated wildlife monitoring.</li></ul> 


Assist with ecological field surveys, including:
<ul>
<li>Terrestrial ecology sampling, data recording, and (with training) analysis.</li>
<li>Deployment and retrieval of monitoring equipment (Anabat, Cam Traps etc)</li></ul> 


Provide broader support to the Terrestrial Team:
<ul>
<li>Land transport and driving across field sites.</li>
<li>Technical and administrative support as required.</li></ul> 


Required / Preferred Experience
<ul>
<li>Previous fieldwork or ecology experience.</li>
<li>Valid UAE driving licence.</li>
<li>Experience handling wildlife (preferred but not essential).</li></ul>
