Established dermatology practice seeking a dependable and highly skilled Medical Transcriptionist to support a one-physician office. This is a strictly in-office position. We are open to either part-time or full-time employment. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.This role requires professionalism, consistent attendance, and the ability to maintain productivity in a busy clinical setting. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to adhere to a regular work schedule are essential to ensure the smooth operation of the practice. This position is not remote and requires on-site presence during scheduled hours.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Transcribe physician chart notes and correspondence from audio dictation</li><li>Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and properly formatted</li><li>Edit and proofread all transcriptions for grammar, spelling, and consistency</li><li>Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards</li><li>Communicate directly with the physician to clarify dictation when necessary</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist</li><li>Exceptional typing speed and accuracy</li><li>Strong command of medical terminology</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word</li><li>Demonstrated history of reliability and consistent attendance</li></ul>Employment Details:<ul><li>In-office position (no remote option)</li><li>Part-time or full-time schedule available</li><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li><li>Excellent benefits available for full-time employees</li></ul>We are seeking a candidate who values accountability, clear communication, and a strong work ethic.
