Key Position Responsibilities:
Project Management/Estimation<ul><li>
Develop estimates for projects of all sizes</li><li><ul><li>
Includes review of drawings and labor requirements</li><li>
Prep estimate, present and finalize with client</li></ul></li><li>
Manage commercial plumbing projects from turnover through completion.
</li><li>Review project scope, specifications, contracts, and drawings.
</li><li>Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
</li><li>Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials for all assigned projects.
</li><li>Conduct job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
</li><li>Identify and resolve project issues proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns.
</li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and closeout documents.
</li></ul>Financial &amp; Operational Oversight<ul><li>
Manage project budgets and monitor labor/material costs.
</li><li>Review job costing reports and maintain profitability targets.
</li><li>Prepare and submit change orders as needed.
</li><li>Approve invoices and assist with project billing.
</li><li>Track project progress against financial goals and timelines.
</li></ul>Team Leadership<ul><li>
Coordinate daily with field supervisors, foremen, and technicians.
</li><li>Assist in manpower planning and workforce scheduling.
</li><li>Provide leadership and support to field teams to ensure successful project execution.
</li><li>Promote accountability, professionalism, and teamwork throughout the department.
</li></ul>Customer &amp; Vendor Relations<ul><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
</li><li>Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project status.
</li><li>Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
</li><li>Ensure projects are completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
</li><li>Promote a culture focused on safety, organization, and professionalism.</li></ul> 
Key Position Responsibilities: (Minimum) Special Skills, Education and Experience<ul><li>
At Least five (5) year experience as a project manager (or requisite experience) in the mechanical contracting field
</li><li>Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing
</li><li>Full PC Knowledge required (software: Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.)</li></ul>
Significant Manners of Performance<ul><li>
Appropriate professional dress and appearance
</li><li>Capacity to set priorities, organize and handle detail</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>
Ability to be flexible and resilient in responding quickly to changing demands</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with all demographic groups in the Plumbing field, including customers, suppliers and employees
</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and on a flexible schedule.</li></ul>
Other Special Considerations and Preferences<ul><li>
Familiarity with small business operations within the industry</li><li>
Overtime may be required on short notice</li><li>
Travel between various jobsite locations</li><li>
Commitment to ongoing training.</li><li>
Well versed in light commercial plumbing construction/repairs</li><li>
Knowledge and able to bid of plans</li><li>
Knowledge of how to run light commercial plumbing jobs</li><li>
Good communication skills with clients/techs</li><li>
Knowledge of plumbing codes</li></ul></div>
