<p>Duties:</p></div><br>
<div>
<ul><li>Performs skilled work in one or more of the building or service trades</li>
<li>Plans work; estimates material and supplies required.</li>
<li>Reads blueprints, interprets diagrams, charts and specifications</li>
<li>Requests supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Operates power equipment hand tools and testing equipment</li>
<li>Maintains equipment and shop</li>
<li>Repairs trucks, tractors, lawn mowers and other equipment</li>
<li>Repairs and refinishes desks, tables, chairs and other furniture</li>
<li>Cleans and paints walls, woodwork and floors.</li>
<li>Inspects, installs and replaces valves, gauges, pumps, and other accessories and fittings</li>
<li>Repairs/replaces worn pipe flanges and gaskets</li>
<li>Performs basic electrical testing and service work</li>
<li>Replaces light bulbs, fuses, fixtures and makes minor electrical installations</li>
<li>Replaces window glass, cords and repairs frames</li>
<li>Completes landscaping and snow removal.</li>
<li>Maintains athletic fields and paving</li>
<li>Performs substantial amounts of grass cutting and weed trimming during the spring and summer</li>
<li>Performs troubleshooting and repairs on low voltage and high voltage equipment, disconnects, starters, time-delay relays, pumps, motors and associated electrical components</li></ul></div><br>

<div><div><p>Minimum Qualifications:</p></div><br>
<div>
<ul><li>Graduation from high school or vocational school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and three (3) years of experience in the building or service trades;</li>
<li>OR seven (7) years of experience in the building or service trades;</li>
<li>OR an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the above.</li>
<li>Possession of a valid Class D NYS driver's license</li></ul></div><br>

<div><div><p>Qualifications Desired:</p></div><br>

<ul><li>Strong computer skills</li>
