Position responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Collect on aging of assigned region and/or division:<ul><li>
Regular communication with customers to collect on open A/R</li><li>
Perform credit checks/order approvals</li><li>
Run credit reports (Creditsafe)/ recommend credit limit adjustments</li><li>
Prepare collection letters and payment plans</li><li>
Prepare uncollectible accounts for 3rd party</li><li>
Prepare check requests for refunds</li><li>
Work with operational personnel to resolve disputes</li><li>
Initiate adjustments to accounts</li><li>
Prepare statements</li><li>
Process credit card payments</li><li>
Review general ledger for A/R related money</li><li>
Research credits on account</li><li>
Update and maintain all customer account notes</li><li>
Answer Credit Line</li></ul></li></ul><br>

Miscellaneous aging review<ul><li>
COD aging</li><li>
Lease aging</li><li>
High risk aging</li><li>
Equipment aging</li></ul></li><li>
Bankruptcy:<ul><li>
Prepare account/proof of claim</li></ul></li><li>
Perform other duties or projects as assigned by Credit Manager, Credit Supervisor or Controller.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential skills and experience:</b></div><br>

Minimum of two (2) years&rsquo; collection or customer service experience.</li><li>
Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word</li><li>
Professionalism, tact, and diplomacy</li><li>
Commitment to company vision and mission.</li><li>
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Nonessential skills and experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Awareness of lean business principles</li><li>
Sufficient knowledge of our various departments and their procedures.</li></ul></div>
