<div>Wolverine Lawn Services is hiring Grounds Maintenance Crew Members and Crew Leads to join our fast-growing outdoor services team. This full-time position combines hands-on grounds care with optional leadership responsibilities. We maintain beautiful residential and commercial properties while delivering exceptional customer service.
Compensation:
$18 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:
Crew Member<ul><li>
Perform lawn care and landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, landscape installs, and debris cleanup</li><li>
Operate commercial-grade equipment safely</li><li>
Maintain clean uniforms and a professional appearance</li><li>
Support snow season activities as assigned</li><li>
Follow safety procedures and company standards</li></ul>
Crew Lead (includes all Crew Member duties plus)<ul><li>
Lead, train, and motivate crew members during daily work</li><li>
Assign work based on skill level, equipment availability, and daily priorities</li><li>
Ensure crew follows safety protocols and OSHA standards (PPE, equipment handling, vehicle safety)</li><li>
Inspect job sites before and after work to ensure high-quality standards</li><li>
Maintain crew schedules, track hours, and report progress</li><li>
Communicate with managers or clients regarding special instructions or issues</li><li>
Align team and personal behavior with Wolverine Culture and Values</li></ul>
Qualifications:
Required for All Applicants<ul><li>
Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance preferred</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license; ability to obtain a chauffeur license</li><li>
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and perform physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing)</li><li>
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills</li></ul>
Required for Crew Lead Applicants<ul><li>
Leadership experience or ability to guide a small crew</li><li>
State Pesticide Applicator License: Core, 3A, 3B, 6 (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>
Knowledge of lawn care best practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures</li></ul>
