Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Nehru Nagar, Agra Department: Finance &amp; Accounts Reports To: Management / Head OfficeJob SummaryThe Senior Accountant at Woman&rsquo;s Plaza will be responsible for overseeing the company&rsquo;s accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, supervising junior accounts staff, preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.</li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.</li><li>Handle payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and statutory contributions (PF, ESIC, etc.).</li><li>Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts for smooth business operations.</li><li>Conduct internal audits and ensure proper controls are in place to safeguard company assets.</li><li>Review and approve journal entries, expense reports, and vendor payments.</li><li>Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and banks for financial and compliance-related matters.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior accountants/accounts executives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in work.</li><li>Support management with financial analysis, cost control, and decision-making insights.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s/Master&rsquo;s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>CA/CA Inter/ICWA/MBA (Finance) qualification preferred.</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail, fashion, or related industries.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.</li><li>Proficiency in Tally ERP/QuickBooks/other accounting software and MS Excel.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills.</li></ul>Why Join Woman&rsquo;s Plaza?At Woman&rsquo;s Plaza, you will be part of a growing fashion retail brand where your expertise will directly contribute to financial stability and business expansion.
