 The Tasting Room Attendant promotes the sale of wine, wine clubs and non-wine products sold in the Tasting Room, while educating customers on Delicato history, brands and varietals. This position is also responsible for building relationships with customers and takes the initiative to provide excellent customer service and exceptional hospitality.

 Overview
 
 
 
 The Distribution Driver Class B is responsible for delivering products to clients; inspect the general condition of the vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean vehicles including following all safety precautions in accordance with SGWS and the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records.

 We have been serving world class wines, spirits, beer, and alternative better for you beverages throughout the islands with much aloha since 1988. We cover all the Hawaiian Islands with more than 150 team members through distribution facilities on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. These locations also serve our customers on the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Our state-of-the-art Hawaii headquarters in Kapolei was completed in 2008 and upgraded with full solar power in 2022, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the Hawaii community.
 
 
 
 
 
 Pay/Benefits
 
 
 
 The expected pay range for this role is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.  This position will maximize warehouse picking and replenishment efficiencies through effective item placement and data analysis using company methods and procedures.
 
 
 
 Job Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Utilize a variety of tools to include MS Excel and JBLC slotting tools to evaluate slotting locations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assign pick locations for new items for optimal picking and replenishment considering balancing work load across multiple work zones.
 </li>
 <li>
 Generate Moves List for items that require location changes based on sales and JBLC slotting tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with Warehouse Manager and all warehouse employees for creative and innovative slotting to include slot capacities, location accuracy and safety concerns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform cycle counts and produce variance reports, manage re-counts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with delivery drivers on load discrepancies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Audit breakage reporting and create inventory adjustments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform receiving duties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned by warehouse manager on as-needed basis.

 Job Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>

 High school graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability and experience operating a pallet jack and forklift equipment preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Microsoft office proficiencies (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
 </li>
 <li>
 Verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of an organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and to make sound decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 Overview
 
 
 
 Serve as the primary liaison between the local market and designated suppliers and lead a team in becoming experts at generating supplier program activations that deliver exceptional results. Develop strategic direction for priorities of subordinates to meet volume and value targets through optimal allocation of resources and adherence to brand strategy/standards.
 
 
 
 Primary Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Maintain constant communication modes between Division field sales team and supplier marketing (brand &amp; local)
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement and drive company-wide sales strategies to achieve sales goals
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, execute and evaluate sales, promotion, and marketing programs
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and direct the Supplier Planning Initiatives, including supplier meetings, programming communication, and business review/planning meeting with SGWS leadership
 </li>
 <li>
 Direct the design, planning, and implementation of new and existing marketing initiatives that align with supplier goals
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage purchasing, supplier shipment, and local delivery of assigned-supplier portfolios for incentive planning and inventory
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure brand pricing and gross profit is aligned to strategy by channel
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Commercial Finance team in the management of funds and banks as related to local marketing and brand planning
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize various available analytic tools to identify local market intelligence and opportunities - consumer shifts/trends, channel dynamics, key account (NAOP/ chains) dynamics, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all business intelligence program tracking is accurate, timely and aligns with regional and individual state reporting
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Develop and enhance relationships with the trade through participation in food/wine/industry-related events

 Survey retail outlets monthly to determine and track competing brands and wholesalers

 Minimum Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 Seven years of relevant experience

 Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed

 Must possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws
