<div>Position: Interim Warehouse/Logistics Manager

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Reports To: Interim Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time 


Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Interim Warehouse/Logistics Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and logistics functions. This role is critical in ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and smooth coordination with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. 


Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping</li>
<li>Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize delivery timelines and reduce costs</li>
<li>Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy</li>
<li>Coordinate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order processing</li>
<li>Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with transportation providers</li>
<li>Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions</li>
<li>Maintain warehouse equipment and oversee maintenance schedules</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics management</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP(NetSuite) software</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities</li>
<li>Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards</li>
<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills</li></ul> 


Preferred Skills:
<ul>
<li>Experience with lean warehousing or Six Sigma methodologies</li>
<li>Familiarity with international shipping and customs procedures</li>
<li>Forklift certification or experience with warehouse machinery</li></ul>

<li>Inventory accuracy rate</li>
<li>On-time delivery percentage</li>
<li>Warehouse labor efficiency</li>
<li>Order fulfillment cycle time</li>
<li>Logistics cost per unit shipped</li></ul> 


Working Conditions:
<ul>
<li>Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, equipment, and varying interruptions.</li>
<li>Requires standing, lifting, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods.</li>
<li>May involve shift work, overtime, and weekend availability based on operational needs.</li></ul>
