Salary Range: $53,269 to $71,025 (DOE) 
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing human resources related duties on a professional level under the direction of the HR Director. These duties include administering human resources policies, procedures and programs, as well as performing any other day-to-day operations of the human resources office. The HR Generalist works closely with the HR Director to support operating sites. The carrying out of responsibilities in the following functional areas is expected: benefits administration, employee relations, training &amp; development, compensation, performance management, policy implementation, onboarding, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance. 
The HR Generalist leads human resources practices and objectives in a way which exemplifies the company values of Integrity, Safety, Servant Leadership, Respect for People, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Focus. 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
HR Administration<ul><li>
Answer general employee questions, data entry into the HR system and administering health benefit plans.</li><li>
Evaluate and respond to human resource issues and when appropriate, consult with local HR departments, divisional HR leaders and VP of Human Resources.</li><li>
Serve as departmental resource by effectively interpreting and administering human resources policies, procedures, and plans.</li><li>
Oversee accurate Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and compile reports. Conduct Internal HR audits.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.</li><li>
Prepare termination and severance letters. Assist in exit interviews.</li><li>
Administer the random drug testing.</li><li>
Work with the mill managers annually to update the employee handbooks.</li><li>
Ensure the state and federal mandatory postings are current and accurate.</li><li>
Participate in process reviews, policy development teams, and other opportunities for involvement with continuous improvement and best practices.</li><li>
Maintain Records - creating, maintaining, storing, securing and destroying employee records.<ul><li>
All changes or updates to paperwork must be made within one business day and filed within the same work week.</li><li>
Ensure the files are secure and safe from theft or tampering. Destroy records when they are no longer relevant.</li></ul></li><li>
Assist with the performance evaluation and merit increase process.</li><li>
Coordinate recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel, as well as temporary employees. Includes updating job descriptions and job postings, screening candidates, interviewing, selection and orientation.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
HR Knowledge &amp; Expertise<ul><li>
Counsel with site management and advise on issues as a trusted HR business partner.</li><li>
Under direction from the HR Director, participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.</li><li>
Improve efficiency of department and services performed.</li><li>
Plan, develop, and coordinate the implementation of training programs.</li></ul> 
HR Communications:<ul><li>
Communicate with area personnel, associates, and management with high professionalism and confidentiality.</li><li>
Assist in employee relations issues. Counsel associates and managers concerning job related matters.</li><li>
Conduct New Hire Orientations and ensure all employment documents are current and complete.</li><li>
Perform benefits administration including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefits information to employees.</li><li>
Assist in the performance appraisal process, including counseling managers and supervisors on the program.</li></ul> 
Safety<ul><li>
Work with management to create and implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed daily</li><li>
Conduct New Hire Orientation and training on all essential safety policies</li><li>
Educate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operation</li><li>
Conduct monthly safety training for all employees</li><li>
Work with management to implement safety procedures and follow up to be sure they are followed</li><li>
Work with management to organize a Central Safety Committee (CSC) and support hourly employees in leading the CSC</li><li>
Maintain proper safety equipment and personal protective equipment for employees.</li><li>
Manage the Hazard Communication process.</li><li>
Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.</li><li>
Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident.</li><li>
Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events.</li></ul> 
Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources or related field and 1-2 years HR experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.</li><li>
Highest level of professional conduct, integrity.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in office computer applications.</li><li>
Ability to motivate and positively influence others.</li><li>

Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment, though this person is expected to occasionally be on and work in the manufacturing floor/environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.This is a full-time position. This position occasionally requires long hours and occasional weekend work.

Job Summary: 
The Benefits and Compensation Analyst supports the design, implementation, and administration of the organization&rsquo;s total rewards programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role provides analytical and strategic insights to inform compensation and benefits decisions, conducts market benchmarking, and partners with HR and leadership to develop programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. Through data analysis and process improvement, the analyst contributes to advancing a total rewards strategy that supports organizational goals and enhances the employee experience. This position reports to the Director of Compensation and Benefits. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking to ensure pay structures remain competitive and equitable</li><li>
Analyze internal and external compensation data to support pay decisions, job evaluations, and salary structure updates</li><li>
Assist in developing, maintaining, and administering compensation programs, including salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive plans</li><li>
Prepare compensation recommendations and supports the annual merit, bonus, and incentive plan processes</li><li>
Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to ensure pay practices align with organizational policy, compliance requirements, and budget guidelines</li><li>
Participate in compensation surveys and analyzes results to inform market competitiveness.Maintain documentation and ensure data integrity across HR systems and processes</li><li>
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, and retirement plans</li><li>
Assist with annual open enrollment, benefits renewals, and related communication materials</li><li>
Ensure data accuracy between HRIS, benefits vendors, and payroll systems; troubleshoots and resolves discrepancies</li><li>
Research and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience</li><li>
Monitor benefit plan performance, utilization, and cost trends, providing insights for leadership decision-making</li><li>
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data analyses related to compensation, benefits, and workforce metrics</li><li>
Support regulatory compliance with federal and state laws, including FLSA, ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable legislation</li><li>
Maintain documentation and ensure data integrity across HR systems and processes</li><li>
Partner with HR, Finance, and Payroll to ensure consistent and accurate program administration</li><li>
Assist in developing employee and manager communications to promote understanding of total rewards programs</li><li>
Provide excellent customer service and consultation to employees and leaders regarding compensation and benefits questions</li><li>

Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>
Must have at least 2 years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR role</li><li>
Experience with compensation survey tools and market pricing platforms</li><li>
Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus, but not required.</li></ul>

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting</li><li>
Solid understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and regulatory requirements</li><li>
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and present findings to leadership</li><li>

Experience with HRIS systems and compensation management software</li><li>

This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, excluding company holidays, with working hours that may vary based on departmental needs.
