Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care for dogs during their walks or overnight stays. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of pets while providing a positive experience for both the dogs and their owners. The Dog Walker will be responsible for managing multiple clients, maintaining a flexible schedule, and delivering excellent customer service.Responsibilities<ul><li>Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and socialization.</li><li>Maintain control of dogs at all times, using appropriate handling techniques to ensure safety.</li><li>Provide basic care such as feeding, administering medication if needed, and grooming when required.</li><li>Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and any concerns that arise during walks.</li><li>Keep accurate records of each dog's walking schedule, preferences, and any special instructions from owners.</li><li>Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving dog supplies or equipment.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols to protect both the dogs and yourself during walks.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in pet care or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Skills in dog handling, animal restraint, or pet grooming are highly valued.</li><li>Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus.</li><li>Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple dogs simultaneously while ensuring their safety and well-being.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Applicants should be capable of walking, exercising, and handling the pet</li><li>Experience with pets is preferred but not required, as training is provided</li><li>Ability to pass a criminal background check</li><li>Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver&rsquo;s license, and a smartphone</li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li></ul>If you are an animal lover with the skills needed to provide excellent care for our furry friends, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $20.64 - $22.13 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
