Join our team as a legal assistant and support Ohio&rsquo;s injured workers! Utilize your legal and/or medical background to work with our team assisting a single attorney practice specializing in Ohio Workers&rsquo; Compensation with case management, document preparation, and client communications. We are looking for an energetic person with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to build client relations in our fast-paced work environment.What we are looking for:<ul><li>Excellent communication skills with clients via phone, email and in person are required</li><li>Time management, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work independently are required.</li><li>Experience with Ohio Workers&rsquo; Compensation claims is ideal but not required.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology or experience in medical settings is ideal but not required.</li></ul>What your day may look like:<ul><li>Create, maintain, organize and process client files</li><li>Follow up on requested documents and evidence for hearings</li><li>Schedule appointments, coordinate client interviews, and maintain calendars</li><li>Transcribe and dictate legal documents, reports and hearing notes.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(K)</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Paid sick time and vacation time</li></ul>Work location:<ul><li>100% in office, 40 hours a week.
