Overall Position Description:</b></p><p>
The A&amp;D Technician is responsible for the secure, accurate, and defensible collection of electronically stored data (ESI) from various digital sources, in compliance with industry best practices and legal requirements to support Acquisitions &amp; Divestitures. This role involves working closely with IT Staff (J&amp;J and Acquired Companies), legal teams, project managers, program managers and the like.</p>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Execute and fulfill data preservation requirements as identified by the A&amp;D project for electronically stored information which may include O365 applications and resources, hard drives, hard drive backup applications, and other identified custodial based data sources.</li><li>
Ability to work with and manage potentially high volume of data; and high volume of project related records and requirements.</li><li>
Maintain detailed records for all data preservations, including the operations that were performed and the date and format of data preserved.</li><li>
Utilize industry standard electronic discovery and data forensic hardware and software to ensure data integrity.</li><li>
Active communication with and delivery of status updates to project managers and business partners.</li><li>
Use of the following tools: EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, O365 Security &amp; Compliance Center, hard drive cloning operations, and other tools as required.</li><li>
Communicate professionally and effectively with project managers, business partners, and project leads.</li><li>
Process all preservations according to established intake processes and internal guidelines.</li><li>
Adhere to strict timelines as dictated by project needs.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Candidate Profile:</b></h3><ul><li>
Authorized to work in the United States</li><li>
Post 9/11 Military Veteran with an Honorable discharge, <b>OR</b> currently serving in the National Guard/Reserve</li><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent with IT experience</li><li>
Available to work Full-time</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Additional Requirements:</b></h3><ul><li><div>
Must have a minimum of 2.5 years of working experience in eDiscovery or Security Investigations; or an analogous technical field utilizing similar tools, processes, etc. to perform the preservation of data.</div></li><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred but not required.</div></li><li><div>
Industry related Technical Certifications preferred but not required.</div></li><li><div>
Education at any level relevant to Information Technology, Computer Science, etc. is preferred but not required.</div></li><li><div>
Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting acumen for complex issues in need of problem solving.</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Strong teamwork and communication/information sharing skills.</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Exercise judgment and influence on key processes and technical decisions (e.g. - policy, standards, technical solutions).</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Good organization, planning, and time management skills.</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and handle/prioritize multiple tasks.</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Process and detail oriented.</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Excellent written and verbal skills (required for high-volume communications with company employees involved in data preservation tasks.)</div></li><div></div><li><div><br>
Scripting experience preferred but not required.</div></li></ul>
