Requirements 
<ul><li>
Education:</li><li><ul><li>
A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field is required. 
</li></ul></li><li>
Experience:</li><li><ul><li>
We're looking for candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in internal auditing, loan operations, risk management, or compliance in the financial services sector.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Industry Background:</li><li><ul><li>
Previous experience in banking, financial services, or lending institutions is essential.</li><li>
Proficient in commercial lending, mortgage lending, or consumer loan operations.</li><li>
In-depth understanding of the complete loan lifecycle, encompassing loan origination, underwriting support, documentation review, funding, servicing, and collections.</li><li>
Knowledgeable about loan documentation requirements, credit files, and the essential operational controls within lending processes.</li><li>
Adept at pinpointing operational risks, addressing process inefficiencies, and identifying control weaknesses within loan operations.</li><li>
Experience with internal audits, quality assurance, or compliance reviews specifically related to lending operations.</li></ul></li></ul>
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li><ul><li>
Execute internal audits and conduct thorough operational reviews throughout the loan lifecycle, encompassing origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections.</li><li>
Spot and address process inefficiencies, operational risks, and control gaps within loan operations.</li><li>
Guarantee compliance with internal policies, procedures, and risk management standards.</li><li>
Contribute to the enhancement and fortification of internal controls within WBL&rsquo;s lending operations.</li><li>
Deliver insightful audit findings along with actionable recommendations to elevate operational procedures and strengthen risk controls.</li><li>
Collaborate with management to oversee remediation efforts, ensuring prompt resolution of audit findings.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Technical Skills Required:</li><li><ul><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Essential Soft Skills:</li><li><ul><li>
Exceptional command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for efficient data analysis, tracking, and reporting.</li><li>
Expertise in reviewing documentation to pinpoint discrepancies or missing elements.</li><li>

Skilled in organizing and juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a keen eye for detail.</li><li>

Remote - Loan Operations Internal Audit Analyst

This position is a Contract/Consultant role with working hours typically from 9:00 am-6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Applicants should have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.

Requirements 
Education: 
Business Administration and/or Legal.
Experience:
3-5 years of professional experience.<ul><li>
Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in vendor management, legal operations, contract administration, procurement, compliance, or operational support roles that engage with third-party providers.</li></ul>
Industry Background: 
Ideal candidates will likely have a background in financial services, commercial lending, legal sectors, corporate legal departments, compliance-focused organizations, or other professional service settings that emphasize structured vendor management. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Facilitate the onboarding process for vendors and perform thorough due diligence to guarantee an organized, compliant, and comprehensive intake.
</li><li>Keep precise vendor records while centralizing legal and operational documentation.
</li><li>Support contract negotiations to align with business objectives, mitigate risks, and optimize cost efficiencies.
</li><li>Monitor contracts, renewals, deliverables, and service requirements, notifying the supervising lead of any key deadlines or concerns.
</li><li>Evaluate vendor performance and promptly address any issues that arise.
</li><li>Escalate concerns related to documentation, compliance, service, or contracts when necessary.
</li><li>Foster effective vendor communications and support the ongoing management of relationships.
</li></ul>Technical Skills Required:<ul><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li><li>
Experience with contract and document management systems, vendor tracking databases or workflow platforms.</li><li>
Strong ability to maintain organized records, track renewals and deliverables, and manage legal-operational documentation accurately.</li></ul>
