The Warehouse Manager oversees day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure all IRONMAN Group events receive accurate, timely, and high-quality equipment and materials. This role manages inventory, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, and operational compliance while upholding global IRONMAN standards. The Warehouse Manager partners closely with Event Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to maintain a reliable flow of materials that support exceptional event execution.
Requirements: 
Warehouse Operations &amp; Inventory Management<ul><li>
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment with clear labeling and logical inventory placement.</li><li>
Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.</li><li>
Maintain inventory records, stock levels, and material traceability across both warehouse locations.</li><li>
Coordinate the loading, unloading, and staging of pallets, trucks, and shipments.</li><li>
Ensure all materials are properly stored, marked, and documented in the warehouse management system.</li></ul> 
Event Support &amp; Shipment Coordination<ul><li>
Serve as the main point of contact for all shipment planning for North America events.</li><li>
Partner with Race Directors, Regional Directors, VIP Services, Athlete Services, Volunteer Services, and Event Supply Managers to confirm event requirements.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain shipment tickets and documentation for IRONMAN and Rock &rsquo;n&rsquo; Roll events.</li><li>
Build pallets and accurately record pallet contents; reference past event shipments as needed.</li><li>
Coordinate freight pickups with shipping partners; obtain quotes, confirm pickup dates, and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs).</li><li>
Manage occasional FedEx shipments; determine appropriate service levels based on timelines and cost.</li></ul> 
Compliance, Reporting &amp; Administration<ul><li>
Follow all Global IRONMAN Logistics &amp; Supply Chain best practices and safety standards.</li><li>
Maintain warehouse shipping logs and tracking documents (e.g., Colorado/NC Warehouse Shipping files).</li><li>
Attend recurring team meetings and provide timely operational updates.</li><li>
Accurately code and submit invoices and expense reports in alignment with budget expectations.</li></ul>
Safety &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>
Champion warehouse safety practices, including equipment handling, vehicle operation, and facility upkeep.</li><li>
Identify and address potential hazards; report unsafe conditions promptly.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.</li></ul>

Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>
3+ years of warehouse operations experience; event or logistics industry preferred.</li><li>
Prior experience managing shipments, freight coordination, or inventory control.</li><li>
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).</li><li>
Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with frequent change.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.</li></ul> 
Event Support: In addition to core warehouse responsibilities, this role will support IRONMAN Group events on an ad hoc basis, typically up to five events per year. This support may be in a logistics capacity or in a general operational role, depending on event needs.
During these assignments, the Warehouse Manager may be responsible for:<ul><li>
Assisting with on-site build, setup, and teardown of event infrastructure (e.g., transition areas, finish lines, athlete villages, expo spaces).</li><li>
Providing logistics support, including equipment staging, vehicle loading/unloading, and onsite material distribution.</li><li>
Ensuring proper deployment and return of warehouse-managed assets, with accurate tracking and condition reporting.</li><li>
Collaborating with Event Operations, Regional Directors, and Logistics teams to troubleshoot onsite issues and ensure flawless execution.</li><li>
Operating vehicles, trailers, or equipment as required by the event footprint and safety standards.</li><li>
Supporting last-mile logistics, including coordination of deliveries, freight, and replacement items.</li><li>
Upholding IRONMAN&rsquo;s global event-delivery standards and representing the warehouse function professionally onsite.</li></ul>
Requirements for Event Support<ul><li>
Ability to travel as needed across North America; some assignments may require extended days or weekend work.</li><li>
Comfortable working long or physically demanding days in outdoor environments and variable weather.</li><li>
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with onsite staff and volunteers.</li><li>
Ability to problem-solve quickly in live event conditions with shifting priorities.</li><li>

The Supply team ensures all event supplies, equipment, and logistics are delivered, organized, and maintained to support world-class race execution. The Supply Lead and Supply Assistant work closely with the Race Director and event operations to manage on-site warehousing, transportation, ordering, inventory, and overall supply-yard excellence. These roles require strong operational discipline, coordination, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements: 
Event Supply &amp; Logistics<ul><li>
Oversee all event supply operations, including on-site warehousing, shipping/receiving, equipment maintenance, and ordering of trucks, trailers, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>
Ensure all supplies are received on time; for 140.6 events, the Supply Lead arrives one week prior to event week for early coordination.</li><li>
Organize supply orders and load bike and run aid-station trucks.</li><li>
Manage stocking, loading, unloading, and restocking of trucks for delivery to aid stations; coordinate pickups and drop-offs with course personnel and Volunteer Captains.</li><li>
Load, bind, label, and arrange pallets for transport to warehouse staging areas.</li><li>
Convey equipment and supplies from receiving to storage or designated locations.</li></ul>
Inventory Management<ul><li>
Answer inquiries from on-site staff related to inventory, routing, packing, and asset tracking.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of all equipment, supplies, and materials received or distributed.</li><li>
Sort, label, and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins following predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, or product code).</li><li>
Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas as required.</li><li>
Mark materials with identifying information and open crates, bales, and containers as needed.</li><li>
Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with IRONMAN standards.</li></ul>
Transportation &amp; Equipment<ul><li>
Drive vehicles to transport stored items between warehouse, site, and partner locations.</li><li>
Operate pallet jacks and maintain forklift certification (classes 1, 4, 5, and 7).</li><li>
Maintain trucks and trailers used for event supply transport.</li></ul>
Problem Solving &amp; Issue Resolution<ul><li>
Maintain proficiency in UPS and FedEx tracking systems for shipping and receiving.</li><li>
Investigate and resolve transit or delivery issues promptly.</li><li>
Coordinate with managers and team members to develop and implement process improvements, policies, goals, and objectives.</li></ul>
Budget &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Monitor spending and ensure expenses align with approved budgets.</li><li>
Promote and uphold safe working practices for all staff.</li><li>
Follow all required sanitation and safety protocols, including COVID-related measures when applicable.</li><li>
Adhere to emergency action plans and respond appropriately during site emergencies.</li></ul>

Site Operations &amp; Yard Excellence<ul><li>
Maintain a clean, organized Supply Yard at all times.</li><li>
Ensure all work areas are left cleaner than they were upon arrival.</li><li>
Uphold proper radio etiquette and event-appropriate attire.</li><li>
Provide support in ALL CALL event situations and assist other teams as needed.</li></ul>

Experience leading on-site operations or small teams during large-scale events, activations, or multi-day productions.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with experience driving vans, box trucks, or similar vehicles used for event supply transport.</li><li>
Forklift certification (classes 1, 4, 5, and 7) or the ability to obtain certification prior to event season.</li><li>
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly and work outdoors in variable weather conditions.</li><li>
Strong organizational and inventory-management skills, including experience with physical receiving, stock rotation, and asset tracking.</li><li>
Proficiency with shipping and tracking systems such as UPS, FedEx, or equivalent.</li><li>
Comfort working long hours during event weeks, including early mornings, late evenings, and extended shifts.</li><li>
Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across Race Directors, course teams, volunteer leadership, and operations crews.</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently, make quick decisions onsite, and maintain professionalism under pressure.</li></ul>
