Position Summary
Nelson Miller Group is seeking an exceptional, high-energy Sales Manager to lead and significantly expand our business across the East Coast Region.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with deep expertise in HMI technologies, complex engineered solutions, and supply chain services. This role requires a proven ability to drive significant revenue growth, develop new markets, effectively mentor a regional sales team, and build enduring, high-value relationships with customers in the Commercial, Industrial, Lighting, Aerospace &amp; Defense (A&amp;D), and Medical markets. You will be responsible for defining and executing the regional sales strategy to meet ambitious financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership &amp; Business Growth<ul><li>
Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to expand NMG&rsquo;s market share and presence across the East Coast.</li><li>
Proactively drive new business development (hunter mentality) while cultivating and strengthening existing high-potential customer partnerships and accounts.</li><li>
Accountability for a regional revenue target (e.g., managing $100M+ in annual revenue) and ensuring achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).</li></ul>
Team Management &amp; Mentorship<ul><li>
Lead, manage, and mentor the regional sales team to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profitability goals.</li><li>
Foster a high-performance culture characterized by accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development.</li><li>
Implement rigorous sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting methodologies using the CRM system.</li></ul>
Solution Integration &amp; Market Expertise<ul><li>
Serve as the senior point of contact for high-value strategic accounts, negotiating complex contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to define and deliver integrated, custom-engineered solutions.</li><li>
Represent NMG with integrity and professionalism at industry events, trade shows, and key customer executive engagements.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications<ul><li>
10+ years of progressive sales experience in complex solution selling, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a sales management or leadership role.</li><li>
Demonstrated history of successfully managing a P&amp;L or revenue book of at least $100M+ and leading a team of 10 or more people.</li><li>
Deep domain expertise in the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) market and related electronics, design, and manufacturing technologies.</li><li>
Proven success selling engineered products, custom manufacturing, or sophisticated supply chain solutions into relevant markets (Commercial, Industrial, Lighting, A&amp;D, and Medical).</li></ul>
Key Attributes<ul><li>
Demonstrated ability to close high-value, complex deals and scale a high-performing sales organization.</li><li>
Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ), communication, and negotiation skills.</li><li>
Strong existing professional network and relationships within the East Coast's HMI and electronics/manufacturing space is highly desirable.</li><li>
Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region.</li></ul>
Additional Information<ul><li>
This position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. &sect;1324b(a)(3) due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance.</li><li>
Candidates being considered for hire must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.</li></ul>
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $180-200k plus a target bonus of up to 20% based on company performance (Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data).
Benefits Offered: Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage; company-paid basic life/AD&amp;D insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance; voluntary supplemental insurances, flexible spending accounts and employee assistance program (EAP).
