Pay
Base salary range of $113,000 - $133,000 annually, plus performance-based incentive program
How Your Role Fits In
As the Distribution Center Manager (DCM) for our Loves Park facility, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the facility. This position will be responsible for planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, decision making, and working directly with our customer base.
What you&rsquo;ll do:<ul><li>
Customer Engagement: Handle all customer inquiries, complaints, and notifications in a timely manner as requested.</li><li>
Team Management: Direct a group of approximately 6 supervisors and a manage a total of 100 facility staff.</li><li>
Employee Development: Motivate, coach, and appraise employee performance, fostering a productive and positive work environment and ensuring employees are equipped with the skills needed for their roles.</li><li>
Leadership Training: Participate in leadership training programs to enhance management skills and effectiveness as well as coach, influence, organize and manage a team toward a common goal.
</li><li>Financial Aptitude: Ability to understand, explain, prepare, and manage economic and accounting information related to budgets and P&amp;L for operations.</li><li>
KPI Management: Track, update, and execute on customer and WOW KPI&rsquo;s</li><li>
Performance Review &amp; Appraisal: Write and conduct performance reviews to assess and enhance employee performance. Prepare corrective actions and follow up as necessary, ensuring timely resolution of issues.</li><li>
Policy Enforcement: Uphold company policies consistently and fairly to maintain compliance and workplace standards.</li><li>
Safety Compliance: Promote a safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards, food safety standards, and assisting in safety training sessions and meetings to promote a culture of safety.</li><li>
Inventory Management: Manage inventory to occupancy limits and address discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>
Communication: Develop content for communication meetings to facilitate effective team communication.</li><li>
Time Management: Ability to manage resources and time to organize and complete work within deadlines.</li><li>
Problem-solving/Project Management: Drive continuous improvement with the ability to find a solution, work toward proactive management and direct to completion.</li><li>
Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.</li></ul>
What it takes to succeed:<ul><li>
3+ years of management experience, including financial responsibility
</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field preferred</li></ul><ul><li>
Proficiency with MS Office suite, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, Strong attention to detail and time management skills</li><li>
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills</li><li>
Ability to analyze and improve processes</li><li>
Self-driven and confident</li><li>
Ability to travel, as needed</li><li>
Extensive knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)</li></ul>
