7. Obtains and records assigned patient temperatures, pulse rates, respiratory rates, blood pressures, intake and outputs, weights and abdominal girths according to departmental policy.
8. Provides respiratory support by properly setting up equipment needed for oxygen administration.
9. Encourage the usage of Incentive Spirometer according to Respiratory Care procedure.
10. Observes and reports all patient concerns/changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
11. Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures according to departmental procedure.
12. Assists physicians and registered nurse with examinations and procedures.
13. Assists with basic rehab/Physical Therapy activities, i.e. active and passive range of motion and ambulation.
14. Communicates with RN regarding any nutrition issues, such as poor appetite or verbalized lack of understanding of diet changes
15. Provides total care within scope of practice (vital signs, activities of daily living) when assigned sitter or constant visual responsibilities.
16. Assists in indirect patient care by maintaining a clean and safe environment to help prevent and/or control infections and to provide for safety of patients, visitors and employees.
17. Maintains clean assigned, unit equipment according to departmental procedures.
18. Reports all necessary equipment repairs to appropriate personnel according to departmental procedure in a timely manner.
19. Assists in routine unit operations as directed/needed to assure smooth communication and functioning of the unit.
20. Courteously answers telephone in a timely manner, identifying self and unit at all times.
21. Courteously answers patient call bell and relays message to the appropriate personnel.
22. Relays accurate telephone, visitor and patient messages to appropriate persons in a timely manner.
23. Promptly completes errands as requested.
24. Unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) may have limited access to medications including during transport of non-controlled substances at the request of a licensed care provider.
25. Removes out of date items.

</h2>Coordinates and manages clinical trials/protocols within the Department ensuring adherence to protocol requirements and regulatory guidelines. 6. Reviews the protocol, informed consent form, and follow-up procedures with potential study subjects and ensures the informed consent is signed before subjects are screened and enrolled.
 
7. Clinical coordination of protocols and clinical trials, including scheduling follow up visits and testing, assess subject response and review of laboratory data.
 
8. Provides quality assurance for the clinical protocols and investigations, ensuring protocol guidelines are followed.
 
9. Explores and evaluates opportunities for federal, state, private and institutional funding and external presentations, including grant writing and submission.
 
10. Coordinates care management of research patients undergoing treatment in the suite.

</h2>Provides administrative and operational support to the Provider Support Services Department, with a primary focus on credentialing, provider data management, and compliance processes. This role manages a broad range of administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient departmental operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

2. Manages and updates with expirable tracking systems for licenses and other time-sensitive credentials, including monitoring deadlines and facilitating timely renewals.
3. Handles correspondence related to credentialing and expirable and assists with data management.
4. Performs data entry and updates information in credentialling systems and spreadsheets.
5. Conducts routine reviews and audits of credential files.
6. Supports oversight of various tracking spreadsheets such as reappointments, locum tenens provider agreements, medical staff requirements, malpractice documentation, and routine enrollment audits as assigned.
7. Research existing data and credential files to extract relevant information and accurately input into tracking systems and databases.
8. Ability to research and interpret state licensure requirements, including applicable laws, regulations, and renewal timelines, and organize findings into clear reference materials to support ongoing provider compliance and credential maintenance.
9. Prepare reports, meeting materials, and correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication.
10. Contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
11. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive provider information.
13. Ability to identify basic discrepancies in data.
14. Demonstrates willingness to learn credentialing processes and systems.

1. Observes and reports all patient concerns/changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
2. Assists the Registered Nurse with admission, transfer, discharge and general patient care duties.
3. Records the vital signs, assists in personal hygiene and other patient comfort measures. Records oral intake and outputs (temperature, blood pressure and other monitoring).
4. Assists in specimen collection and other activities of assigned patients.
5. Assists in indirect patient care by maintaining a clean and safe environment to help prevent and/or control infections and to provide for safety of patients, visitors and employees.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Care Tech-Certified performs nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care activities including personal, physical and comfort needs of patients, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. The PCT-C will provide high-quality patient care in coordination with licensed medical staff.
6. Reports all necessary equipment repairs to appropriate personnel according to departmental procedure in a timely manner.
7. Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures according to departmental procedure.
8. Communicates with RN regarding any nutrition issues, such as poor appetite or verbalized lack of understanding of diet changes.
10. Assists department with administrative tasks to support the department operations.
11. Answers patient call bell and relays message to appropriate personnel.
For facilities with specialty accreditation requirements:
1. Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards. Training may be completed through CBLs, trainings, In-services, and competency validation.
