It is a Part-time position where you can expect cases across the inpatient and outpatient setting, and possibly some shared on-call responsibilities.

Job Summary

A Neurologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. This role involves both clinical and diagnostic responsibilities, often in outpatient or hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and assessments.</li>
<li>Diagnose neurological disorders using patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic tools (e.g., MRI, CT, EEG).</li>
<li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.</li>
<li>Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies</li>
<li>Monitor patients&rsquo; progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed</li>
<li>Order tests and interpret results to determine the best treatment options</li>
<li>Prescribe and manage medications for neurological conditions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., primary care, cardiology, psychiatry).</li>
<li>Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and treatment options.</li>
<li>Perform procedures such as lumbar punctures or botulinum toxin injections (for migraines, dystonia, etc.).</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).</li>
<li>Participate in clinical research, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).</li>
<li>Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.</li>
<li>Board certification or eligibility in Neurology (ABPN).</li>
<li>Valid state medical license and DEA registration.</li>
<li>BLS/ACLS certification (as required by institution).</li>
</ul>

We offer an attractive salary, paid malpractice, generous paid time off program, CME days plus allowance, retirement benefits, and a competitive benefits package. The position is a full-time 40-hour-per-week schedule to provide outpatient and inpatient rotation and procedures. There are shared on-call responsibilities. Compensation ranges from $300K to $420K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits) depending on experience. Loan forgiveness programs are available based on eligibility. Neurology Physician - Faculty (Per Diem)

We serve a culturally diverse population with a wide spectrum of medical conditions. A Hospitalist is a physician specializing in the comprehensive care of hospitalized patients. They manage patient treatment from admission to discharge, coordinate with specialists, and ensure continuity of care.

The Hospitalist will be responsible for managing patient health conditions, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and providing patient consultations. Key Responsibilities

<li>Evaluate patients to assess their medical condition and to establish treatment protocols</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or foreign equivalent</li>
<li>Completion of post graduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.</li>
<li>Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine</li>
<li>Current, unrestricted New York State license.</li>
<li>Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.</li>
<li>Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, bedside manners and organizational skills</li>
<li>Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office</li>
<li>ACLS/BCLS certification</li>
<li>Experience in inpatient care (1&ndash;3 years preferred)</li>
</ul>
