Earn strong compensation with overtime potential and prevailing wage project exposure.LocationThis is a field-based, on-site role based in Bordentown, NJ with travel to project sites throughout the PA/NJ region.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in hands-on field experience with excavation and disposal of contaminated soils and liquids, experience with temporary water treatment and excavation support systems required. Candidate must be able to perform physical field work, lead crews on-site, and travel possibly overnight Monday through Friday.Job description<ul><li>Lead daily field operations on environmental construction and contracting projects</li><li>Work alongside crews performing excavation, trenching, piping installation, tank setting and removal, equipment installation, and concrete work</li><li>Supervise, direct, and mentor field personnel and subcontractors</li><li>Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans to execute work accurately</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, clients, and subcontractors to keep projects moving</li><li>Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain strong compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols</li><li>Complete field reports, time tracking, and project documentation accurately and on time</li><li>Manage site logistics, materials, equipment usage, and field productivity</li><li>Identify field issues, changes, and unforeseen conditions and communicate them quickly</li><li>Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality</li><li>Actively participate in strenuous physical labor, including digging, heavy lifting (50-70 lbs), and operating light to heavy equipment like skid steers or mini-excavators.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2-5+ years of field experience with environmental remediation, hazardous waste management, or heavy civil construction.</li><li>Leadership ability with experience guiding crews in the field</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability</li><li>Ability to read plans, drawings, and technical specifications</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity</li><li>Ability to pass pre-employment screening and physical</li><li>U.S. citizenship or permanent work authorization required</li><li>40-hour OSHA certification preferred</li><li>NJ, PA, DE, or MD storage tank certifications preferred</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean record is essential, a Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) if preferred.</li></ul>Pay: From $30.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Environmental remediation: 2 years (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CDL (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
