Overview General dentist needed for long established, multi-specialty practice in Pasadena. This is not a corporate practice but has been privately owned for over 35 years. Must be proficient in crown and bridge, implant restoration, basic oral surgery and anterior endodontics. Position is currently every Friday. Daily guarantee plus production bonus. Possible additional day(s) in our Valencia office.<ul><li>Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, restorations, and preventive care.</li><li>Conduct oral surgeries such as extractions and other surgical interventions with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.</li><li>Diagnose dental conditions through patient assessment, medical imaging, and clinical examinations.</li><li>Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.</li></ul>*<ul><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care.</li><li>Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to provide seamless patient care.</li></ul>*Qualifications<ul><li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid state dental license and compliance with all licensing requirements.</li></ul>*<ul><li>Experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in oral surgery, prosthodontics, or endodontics is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Ability to perform dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other restorative treatments.</li><li>Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education.</li><li>Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient workflow.</li><li>Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting is preferred.
