<div></div><div>The main purpose and function of the electrician is to ensure the electrical equipment is maintained to the highest level to allow for maximum operation when needed.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Specific</b> <b>responsibilities</b><b> may include:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ensure plant electrical equipment is safe and compliant.</li>
<li>Verify plant and equipment are available for operation.</li>
<li>Ensure plant electrical equipment is thoroughly inspected before startup.</li>
<li>Fill in for other positions when needed.</li>
<li>Communicate with all employees about unsafe conditions and/or maintenance needed.</li>
<li>Repair all electrical equipment to last for the long haul.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.</li>
<li>Support and participate in the organization&rsquo;s Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Specification Q1, 9th Edition requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned as allowed by the CBA.</li>
</ul><div><b>Requirements:</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Education and training:</b></div>
<ul><li>Basic math, reading, and writing skills.</li>
<li>Journeyman or master&rsquo;s License required.</li>
</ul><div><b>Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>Mechanical experience preferred.</li>
<li>4 years of Electrical experience required.</li>
<li>Experience working in an API Specification Q1, 9th Edition environment a plus.</li>
</ul><div><b>Knowledge and Skills:</b></div>
<ul><li>Knowledge of electrical circuits and codes</li>
<li>Forklift operation</li>
<li>Ability to complete reports/records in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area.</li>
<li>Record keeping.</li>
<li>Communication skills, including peer to peer and employee to supervisor communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
</ul><div><b>Physical and Safety Requirements:</b></div>

<li>Sitting, bending, standing, walking 8-12 hours per day</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally.</li>
<li>Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.</li>
