A Patient Flow Coordinator is a Receptionist and SchedulerCoordinating the flow of patients in a Cardiology Medical Practice, with 6 board certified cardiologists, 4 advanced care providers, 7 technologists, 3 registered nurses, 10 remote outreach clinics, and the primary office is in Casper, and scheduling to the Banner-Wyoming Medical Center.We are located in Casper, Wyoming! To be considered for this position, you must reside within 25 miles of Casper, WY.Patient Flow CoordinatorVery complex, multi-tasking position! This is not an entry level position.Medical Receptionist/Scheduler (Patient Flow Coordinators' department) includes 9 co-workers! Staff of approximately 45+ in the practice, including Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, at this time.&middot; Serve patients by greeting and helping them, checking in patients on the Phreesia medical software platform.&middot; Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.. Assist patients and referral providers by handling their calls and questions.Medical Receptionist Qualifications / Skills:&middot; Electronic software/applications for a highly electronic office. Multi-tasking&middot; Flexibility&middot; Medical Telephone skills&middot; Medical patient service&middot; Time management&middot; Organization&middot; Attention to detail&middot; Medical Appointment Scheduling&middot; Computer skills&middot; Keyboarding of 50 wpm+&middot; Optimizes patients&rsquo; satisfaction, physicians and advanced practice providers' time by appropriately scheduling medical appointments in person or by telephone.&middot; Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying clinical staff and medical technologist of patient&rsquo;s arrival via electronic systems.&middot; Comforts patients by anticipating patients&rsquo; anxieties, answering patients&rsquo; questions, and maintaining the reception area.&middot; Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal demographics and patient insurance information.&middot; Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.&middot; Protects patients&rsquo; rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.&middot; Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needing changes.&middot; Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:&middot; College degree is an asset&middot; Familiarity with phone systems and computer software systems&middot; Experienced medical customer service.&middot; Medical terminology desired.&middot; Critical thinking skills.&middot; Detailed oriented.Salary: Negotiable based on previous experience and educationJob Type: Full-timePay: From $37,440.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
