Fiscal Specialist/Payroll Job Description</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Job Summary:</b></div>
<div>
Performs general accounting duties, assisting the Payroll Department with the accurate and timely management of the accounting functions and financial operations of Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Duties/Responsibilities:</b></div>
<div><i>
All duties will comply with Head Start/Early Head Start standards, DFS licensing, NAEYC guidelines, Wyoming Division of Disabilities regulations, and WCFD policies. All employees will adhere to the mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures of WCFD.</i></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Assists the Payroll Department in general accounting duties as assigned. These may include the following:</b></div>
<ul>
<li><div>Payroll processing</div></li>
<li><div>Completing financial reports</div></li>
<li><div>Paying and issuing bills</div></li>
<li><div>Training reimbursements and expenses</div></li>
<li><div>Accounting statements and other paperwork required by accounts payable</div></li>
<li><div>Assists with processing of terminations</div></li>
<li><div>Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions</div></li>
<li><div>Files documents into appropriate employee standard and online files</div></li>
<li><div>Assists or prepares correspondence as requested</div></li>
<li><div>Prepares new-employee online files</div></li>
<li><div>Makes recommendations regarding Personnel Policies, their updates and/or additions</div></li>
<li><div>Performs other related duties as assigned</div></li>
</ul>
<div><b>Required Skills/Abilities:</b></div>
<ul>
<li><div>Computer experience/knowledge required</div></li>
<li><div>Proficient in Excel</div></li>
<li><div>Required experience with fiscal duties and responsibilities</div></li>
<li><div>Must be able to organize and follow to completion projects and tasks assigned by management.</div></li>
<li><div>Must be able to communicate effectively</div></li>
<li><div>Must be able to work in a flexible daily routine and change as required.</div></li>
</ul>
<div><b>Education and Experience</b>:</div>
<ul>
<li><div>No minimum Education requirements but must be experienced with Fiscal duties or outstanding experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Information Systems or other related fields.</div></li>
<li><div>Wyoming Child &amp; Family will only accept college degrees from accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.</div></li>

<li><div>Ability to work in air-conditioned buildings and under fluorescent lighting.</div></li>
<li><div>Must be able to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or reach, to retrieve materials and supplies from ground level to a height of at least 5 ft.</div></li>
<li><div>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.</div></li>
