Role OverviewThe Senior Technical Content &amp; Proposal Writer is responsible for developing high-quality technical and proposal content that supports business growth, client engagement, and internal documentation.This role focuses on translating complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and compelling content for RFP responses, client proposals, technical documentation, and marketing materials.The position works closely with solution architects, engineers, sales teams, and leadership to gather technical inputs and transform them into well-organized, compliant, and persuasive content.This role plays a key part in communicating X10&rsquo;s solutions, capabilities, and value propositions to clients and partners.Primary Responsibilities1. Proposal &amp; RFP Development<ul><li>Lead the development of RFP, RFI, RFQ, and tender responses by drafting structured, persuasive, and technically accurate proposal content.</li><li>Translate solution inputs from technical SMEs and solution architects into clear and compelling proposal narratives.</li><li>Ensure proposal responses meet compliance requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines defined in client RFP documents.</li><li>Develop and maintain proposal templates, response libraries, and reusable technical content to improve efficiency and consistency across submissions.</li><li>Coordinate with technical, sales, and leadership teams to gather information required for proposal responses.</li><li>Edit and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, technical accuracy, and alignment with company messaging.</li><li>Support the management of proposal timelines, deliverables, and submission deadlines.</li></ul>2. Technical Documentation<ul><li>Draft, edit, and maintain technical documentation, reports, and operational materials for internal teams and client deliverables.</li><li>Support PMO and technical teams by preparing project summaries, reports, and solution documentation.</li><li>Translate complex technical information into clear, structured documentation suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Ensure documentation reflects current products, services, and solution architectures.</li></ul>3. Technical Content &amp; Marketing Support<ul><li>Create clear, informative technical content for blogs, articles, solution briefs, whitepapers, and website content.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce engaging and informative materials that communicate technical solutions and services.</li><li>Edit and proofread content to ensure technical accuracy, readability, and brand consistency.</li><li>Identify opportunities for new technical content that supports business development and client education.</li></ul>4. Process &amp; Knowledge Documentation<ul><li>Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and internal knowledge materials.</li><li>Support initiatives related to certifications, compliance frameworks, and operational documentation.</li><li>Ensure documentation is organized, accessible, and aligned with company practices and standards.</li></ul>5. Research &amp; Content Strategy<ul><li>Conduct research on industry trends, technologies, and market developments relevant to cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and managed services.</li><li>Stay informed about X10&rsquo;s solutions, services, and technical capabilities to produce relevant and accurate content.</li><li>Contribute insights to improve proposal quality, technical messaging, and content strategy.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, Marketing, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in technical writing, proposal writing, or content development within the technology sector.</li><li>Experience developing RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, or tender submissions is strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and networking concepts is an asset.</li><li>Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise content for diverse audiences.</li><li>Strong research, organization, and project coordination skills.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with technical teams, sales teams, and marketing teams.</li><li>Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), documentation tools, or proposal management tools is an asset.</li></ul>This is a remote role that follows the Canadian time zone.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $50,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Night Shift (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
