<div>POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the human resources functions to ensure the agency operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining a well-functioning home care agency and ensuring that both staff and clients are well-supported
RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Manage the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.</li><li>
Serve as a point of contact for caregivers regarding HR-related issues, benefits, and policies. Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts.</li><li>
Ensure the agency complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.</li><li>
Assist with required and relevant training programs</li><li>
Track and maintain all physical and medical paperwork ensuring compliance
</li><li>Assist with HR event planning for the care givers</li><li>
Assist with HHA/PCA classes
</li></ul>**IN PERSON-MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM PEEKSKILL LOCATION **
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:<ul><li>
Ability to multitask</li><li>
Fluent in Spanish and English
</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also beneficial.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Must be able to carry, lift, push, or pull at least 20lbs
</li></ul>EDUCATIONEXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
At least one year of Home Care experience or a health care setting preferred</li><li>
Previous HR experience a plus</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent
