 Role Overview:
 
 
 
 We are seeking a
 
 Senior Integration Engineer
 
 with proven experience in
 
 third-party integrations
 
 and
 
 payment gateway connections
 
 . This is a
 
 non-core banking
 
 role, focusing on connecting banking services to external partners, platforms, and financial services through secure, scalable integration solutions.
 
 
 The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, middleware solutions, and integration platforms in
 
 banking or payment processing environments
 
 .
 
 
 The role is hybrid &mdash; 4 days in the office in New Cairo.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions for third-party systems and payment gateways.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with solution architects to ensure integrations align with business and technical requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs and message-based integrations (MQ, Kafka, or similar).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure security, scalability, and high performance in all integration solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain documentation for integration flows, technical specifications, and configurations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement best practices for secure financial transactions and compliance with industry standards
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience: 4-6 years in system integration, with strong exposure to financial services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Domain Expertise: Proven experience with payment gateway integrations and third-party API services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical Skills:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 API design and development (REST/SOAP)
 </li>
 <li>
 Middleware tools (e.g., IBM App Connect, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar)
 </li>
 <li>
 Messaging systems (MQ, Kafka, JMS)
 </li>
 <li>
 JSON, XML, and integration patterns
 </li>
 <li>
 Security standards (OAuth, SSL/TLS, encryption)
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work Model: Hybrid - 4 days onsite in New Cairo.
