We work with city agencies, schools, and community organizations to make education hands-on, culturally relevant, and transformative.Position Overview We are seeking an experienced RFP Reviewer &amp; Grant Writer to assist with reviewing, analyzing, and drafting responses for a complex Request for Proposal (RFP) submission for the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). The RFP may span over 100 pages and requires close attention to detail, compliance awareness, and strategic narrative development aligned with city contract standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review the RFP in its entirety and identify all technical, fiscal, and narrative requirements</li><li>Develop and draft written responses, narratives, and supporting documentation for submission</li><li>Collaborate directly with leadership to align content with organizational goals, capacity, and service models</li><li>Ensure all RFP components meet DYCD guidelines, formatting, and submission standards</li><li>Track deadlines, submission requirements, and document uploads through city portals (PASSPort, HHS Accelerator, etc.)</li><li>Provide recommendations for structure, compliance, and clarity across all proposal sections</li><li>Coordinate with the team to ensure data accuracy, budget alignment, and consistency across attachments</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Demonstrated experience writing or reviewing RFPs and renewals, preferably with NYC DYCD, DOE, or other city agencies</li><li>Strong understanding of NYC government procurement processes, including PASSPort and MOCS systems</li><li>Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure</li><li>Strong organizational and project management abilities</li><li>Flexible and available for immediate engagement over the next two weeks</li></ul>Ideal Candidate This role is best suited for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on structure and high-stakes deadlines.
