Position OverviewThe Purchasing Analyst is responsible for supporting XR&rsquo;s procurement and inventory management processes by analyzing purchasing data, coordinating vendor relationships, and helping maintain cost-effective supply strategies. This role works closely with the Operations, Accounting, Product Development, and Warehouse teams to ensure products are purchased at the right time, for the right price, and in alignment with business needs.This position is ideal for someone with hands-on purchasing or procurement experience with proficient knowledge in Excel who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems through data analysis and collaboration.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Analyze purchasing trends, supplier performance, and inventory data to support better decision-making.</li><li>Create and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely processing.</li><li>Work with vendors to secure competitive pricing, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time deliveries.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstocking.</li><li>Assist Accounting with invoice matching and resolving payment discrepancies when needed.</li><li>Collaborate with Product Development and Warehouse Operations to plan purchasing based on sales trends, promotions, and product launches.</li><li>Support process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve reporting accuracy.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>3+ years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or a similar role.</li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.</li><li>Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.</li><li>Solid communication and vendor negotiation skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required):<ul><li>Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.</li><li>Familiarity with invoice processing and purchase-to-pay workflows.</li><li>Coursework or certifications in purchasing, supply chain, or accounting are a plus.</li></ul>XR Core Competencies<ul><li>Collaboration: Works seamlessly with vendors and cross-functional teams.</li><li>Efficiency: Focused on optimizing costs and improving processes.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Uses data and experience to identify and resolve procurement challenges.</li><li>Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision coverage</li><li>401(k) plan with company match</li><li>Paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays</li><li>Employee discounts on XR products</li><li>Opportunities for growth and advancement within Operations and cross-training in Accounting</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Purchasing Analyst: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Huntington Beach, CA 92649 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
