About Us:XYZ Interiors LLC is a specialist fit-out contractor delivering high-quality interior solutions . We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in the commercial success of our projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for interior fit-out projects.</li><li>Perform accurate quantity take-offs using PlanSwift.</li><li>Evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement activities.</li><li>Prepare and review contracts, progress valuations, and cost reports.</li><li>Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.</li><li>Identify and manage variations and claims.</li><li>Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers.</li><li>Conduct site visits for progress monitoring and valuation purposes.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management).</li><li>Open to candidates with varying levels of experience in quantity surveying or cost control within the interior fit-out industry.</li><li>Experience with PlanSwift is highly preferred, but candidates willing and able to learn it quickly will also be considered.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD is required for reviewing and extracting quantities from technical drawings.</li><li>Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant tools.</li><li>Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.</li><li>Familiarity with local UAE construction codes, practices, and market rates is an advantage.</li><li>Must be currently based in the United Arab Emirates.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience using PlanSwift, or are you willing to learn it quickly?</li><li>Are you fluent in using AutoCAD?</li><li>Are you currently in the United Arab Emirates?</li></ul>
