 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Product details - - Water cooled Diesel engines (10-100 HP), Air Cooled (5-10 HP) &amp; Horizontal water-cooled engine (6-23 HP)
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct Scheduled meetings with OEM&rsquo;s and Review Customer requirements and do Application Study for the Technical feasibility as per Application Engineering Bulletin
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct a cross-functional design review and analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Distribute the activities Involved in a project to respective Engineering team, track the status of work done, review and update
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure customer deliverables as per agreed timeline while scheduled meeting and keep document the Status of Each Project
 </li>
 <li>
 Arrange to carry of Installation Quality Assurance
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out the Product Validation (EIR) Using Various tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support to provide solving/PQC team related to application Engineering
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyzing Engine Test data received from customers (OEMs).
 </li>
 <li>
 New product design &ndash;engine mounting, cooling system, intake and exhaust system for application engineering
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand customer requirement and converting voice of customer in technical specifications for product, technical discussion with supplier, define scope of supply and final BOM preparation, proto part drawing and drawing release for development, proto engine build, Proto BOM, engine testing and dispatch, Proto building and validation
 </li>
 <li>
 Inhouse and field validation of new product
 </li>
 <li>
 Application specific testing of engine, application sign off with customer
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical support to customer
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and share technical specification, data sheets, and certificates to customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge on Product Development tools such as DFMEA, DFS etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnostic and Troubleshoot engine with calibration for engine endurance testing.  Preparation of test reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analysis of failure during testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands on experience in wiring harness, sensors, instruments &amp; conditioning systems used for engine testing
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases
 </li>
 <li>
 Working with Yanmar R&amp;D Team and report the test result.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting new product R&amp;D activity in India, Support to get and proceed emission regulation with Yanmar.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the service activity with Yanmar Japan and Yanmar India for customer
 </li>
 <li>
 Interface to cross functional work teams such as Sales, customer support-services, Testing, R&amp; D, company distributors etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects. Updating of customer data base, MIS as required and submission.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
 </li>

 Education and Work Experience Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Possess Expert level of above specified product knowledge and application.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good Knowledge of Automotive Catalyst, Emission Legislations, Exhaust System, Good Knowledge IC Engines &amp; Testing Requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical Knowledge of Engines &amp; its application
 </li>
 <li>
 Good Analytical Skills (e.g. Root Cause analysis of Field Failures, System Trouble Shooting, for Engines)
 </li>
 <li>
 Candidates having rich knowledge of OEM product development process shall be preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in MS-PowerPoint, Excel &amp; CAD
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong Negotiation &amp; Communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent computer proficiency (CAD, MS Office &ndash; Word, Excel and Outlook)
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work In CFT and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed timelines and standard accepted practices.
 </li>
