Tucked behind unmarked doors, each Yawning Cobra location offers an immersive and elevated cocktail experience&mdash;where refined mixology meets warm hospitality in an intimate setting.As a Bartender, you are the cornerstone of the Yawning Cobra experience. You&rsquo;ll craft innovative, high-quality cocktails that elevate the senses and leave lasting impressions. In both of our sophisticated spaces, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical skill, and commitment to exceptional service.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Craft Cocktails: Prepare Yawning Cobra&rsquo;s signature and classic cocktails with precision, creativity, and consistency.</li><li>Guest Interaction: Provide warm, welcoming service. Offer cocktail recommendations and engage guests with knowledge of ingredients and techniques.</li><li>Bar Setup &amp; Maintenance: Ensure the bar is fully prepped and stocked before service. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area throughout the shift.</li><li>Inventory Management: Track stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage product rotation to minimize waste.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Work closely with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and seamless service.</li><li>Compliance: Adhere to all DOH, food safety, and alcohol service regulations&mdash;including ID checks and responsible service.</li><li>Menu Development: Collaborate on seasonal cocktail development and special menu features.</li><li>Customer Service: Handle guest needs and feedback professionally and efficiently, creating memorable experiences.</li><li>Ongoing Education: Stay informed about industry trends, spirits, and bar techniques to continuously grow your skillset.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Experience: Previous bartending experience in an upscale cocktail bar, speakeasy, or fine dining establishment is required.</li><li>Cocktail Knowledge: Strong understanding of spirits, classic recipes, modern techniques, and flavor balance.</li><li>Hospitality-First: Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor with a passion for guest experience.</li><li>Team Player: Excellent communication and collaborative attitude within a close-knit service team.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Precision in presentation, cleanliness, and execution&mdash;especially in high-pressure moments.</li><li>Appearance: Adheres to our dress code of dark colors and polished attire to match the refined setting.</li><li>Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Adaptability: Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Schedule<ul><li>Hourly Pay: $16.00 &ndash; $20.00 per hour (including tips), based on experience and performance</li><li>Schedule: Evening and weekend availability required</li><li>Typical Shift: 4 PM &ndash; 1 AM (varies by location and day)</li></ul>Locations<ul><li>Yawning Cobra Midtown: 130 E 57th St, New York, NY 10022</li></ul>Be a part of a bar team that values creativity, precision, and hospitality.
