What we are looking for:</i></b></p>

Yazaki is looking for a motivated <b>Summer Intern</b> to join our Human Resources team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from <b>May 11, 2026</b>, to <b>August 14, 2026</b>.</p><br>

<p><b><i>
What you will be doing:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li><b>Project Work</b>: The HR intern will gain exposure to various HR functions, including Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Global Mobility, and HRIS. While the intern may contribute to short-term projects across these areas, their primary focus will be on supporting Learning and Development. They will play an active role in shaping, proposing, and implementing training sessions, with a particular focus on creating digital learning content for a corporate audience using tools such as Articulate 360 and related eLearning design platforms. The intern will also gain hands-on experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including uploading, testing, and tracking training modules.</li>
<li><b>Success Metrics:</b> Successful implementation and deployment of engaging learning content.</li></ul><br>

<ul>
<li><b>Collaboration: </b>The HR intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with HR team members across the US and Mexico. Additionally, they will engage in networking with fellow interns, cross-functional team members, organizational leaders, and potentially external service providers.</li></ul><br>

<p><b><i>
What you will bring to the table:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li><b>Education:</b> Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.</li>
<li><b>Relevant Background:</b> Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related degree</li>
<li><b>Academic Standing:</b> A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.</li>
<li><b>Commitment</b>: Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026.</li>
<li><b>Technical Skills</b>: Completed coursework in the HR field; Proficiency using MS PowerPoint to create engaging presentations as well as using MS Excel to create and manipulate data using sort/filter, v-look up and pivot table creation functions; an interest in or exposure to digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems, and/or video editing software).</li>
