A Market and Strategic Intelligence (MSI) team member's main task is gathering and evaluating trends and providing actionable insights. Hence, as a member of MSI, the Market and Business Analyst has intimate knowledge of the automotive ecosystem, the prevailing trends affecting this industry, and the potential impact on business performance.</p>
<p>
The ideal candidate will analyze past, present, and future trends in the automotive industry and, in conjunction with business units and function groups, determine their impact on Yazaki. To accomplish this, one of the key requirements is connecting with and building collaborative relationships with business units, core function groups, other associates, and the newly established &ldquo;buhin&rdquo; regional and global product management group to understand Yazaki's needs better. The ideal candidate will help define and achieve Yazaki's strategy by supporting the necessary actions.</p><br>

What you will be doing:</i></b></p><br>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>Support Business Units, Core Functions, and Product Managers in creating a strategy.</li>
<li>Evaluate, analyze, and communicate findings continuously and maintain processes, including delivering monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.</li>
<li>Collaborate with business units and core functions to evaluate customer commercial terms and conditions and develop optimal sales and operational responses to customer quote requests.</li>
<li>Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex, sales, finance, engineering, security) to develop analyses and documentation collaboratively, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.</li>
<li>Author and update internal documentation and formally initiate and deliver documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain approved global and regional qualitative and quantitative data and information inputs on a timely schedule, including management of vendors.</li>
<li>Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with clients and vendors.</li>
<li>Respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.</li>
<li>Qualitatively and quantitatively analyze Yazaki&rsquo;s standing against the competition and customer base, including financial structure and operating strategy.</li>
<li>Support efforts to strengthen transparency with Yazaki HQ.</li></ul><br>

What you will bring to the table:</i></b></p><br>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Master&rsquo;s degree preferred) in Business, Engineering or Electronics or related field</li>
<li>Well-versed in the automotive chain, especially vehicle power, data distribution, and control</li>
<li>Advantageous: Bilingual in Spanish or Japanese</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of and/or experience with reporting packages such as MS Office and PowerBI, databases like SQL, and programming languages such as Python, R, XML, Javascript, ETL frameworks, etc., is a plus</li>
<li>Process oriented, ability to meet deadlines, excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, ability to think critically</li></ul><br>

<li>Execute and approve material orders in alignment with production plans and supplier agreements.</li>
<li>Manage end-to-end order confirmation processes with suppliers to ensure supply chain continuity.</li>
<li>Optimize supplier lead times and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) to balance inventory levels.</li>
<li>Coordinate with logistics providers and transport companies for timely material pickups and deliveries.</li>

<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure synchronized operational flow.</li>
<li>Fully comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and support IT security activities.</li>
<li>Manage responsibilities regarding corrective and preventive actions within the ISMS framework.</li>
<li>Ensure all departmental processes are aligned with KVKK (Data Protection) regulations and company privacy statements.</li>
<li>Promptly report security incidents or policy violations to the relevant internal units.</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of discipline and adherence to company procedures.</li>
