</div><div></div><div>Manage pipeline inventory to support customer requirements through analysis, planning, ordering, continual monitoring and occasional intervention while minimizing any extraordinary expenses associated with these steps.</div><br>

</div><div></div><ul><li>Manage Inventory Pipeline
<ul><li>Issue timely orders to manufacturing in the approved format with approved ordering parameters
</li><li>Order and maintain inventory at target to reduce inventory cost
</li><li>Strive for 100% delivery to the customer: with input from multiple internal departments, manufacturing and the customer, ensure customer coverage with the lowest cost option initiating management-approved premium freight if essential
</li><li>Coordinate incoming timing with internal departments
</li><li>Analyze and report delivery performance
</li></ul></li><li>Manage Premium Freight Order
<ul><li>Utilize appropriate processes and systems to log and order premium freight</li>
<li>Coordinate transportation requirements between multiple Yazaki groups and the customer</li>
<li>Determine cost responsibility based on agreements or negotiations with manufacturing or the customer</li>
</ul></li><li>Manage Obsolescence / Balance Out
<ul><li>Order for zero obsolescence</li>
<li>Keep manufacturing on-point for minimal obsolescence as customer demand changes</li>
<li>Determine cost responsibility based on agreements or negotiations with manufacturing or the customer</li>
<li>Process customer claims and scrap quickly to minimize obsolescence and carrying costs</li>
</ul></li><li>Act as the liaison for both the customer and manufacturing
<ul><li>Ensure timely responses to their communication
</li><li>Assist customer with delivery issues</li>
<li>Support engineering changes with manufacturing and the customer</li>
</ul></li><li>Inform customer of any impact to delivery or their build in a timely manner including support plans, commitment timing, recovery timing and root cause as required
</li><li>Manage part registration in applicable system ensuring the system is ready to receive EDI and transmit orders to manufacturing
</li><li>Manage late requests from the customer
</li><li>Represent Production Control at customer and manufacturing meetings
</li><li>Utilize customer systems as necessary
</li><li>Complete required reports and metrics
</li><li>Understand when escalation is required and appropriately initiate it</li>
<li>May monitor manufacturing&rsquo;s output to plan for each Trial Event, updating the carline team on order status
</li><li>May support specific prototype / preproduction meetings (e.g. component procurement / shortage and Supplier Readiness)
</li><li>May coordinate shipment timing and special requirements with Distribution
</li><li>May coordinate component consignments with manufacturing and the supplier
</li><li>May process customer orders in applicable system as necessary
</li><li>Support long-range and short-term group forecasts, goals, objectives, and priorities
