About the Role</h4>
We are looking for a Project Engineer &ndash; Saudi National to support the delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across KSA.
This role is designated for a Saudi National candidate in line with Saudization / nationalization requirements.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, you will support site execution, EPC contractor coordination, technical documentation, quality inspections, commissioning, and project handover.
This is a hands-on role suited to a project engineer with practical solar PV construction experience, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to work closely with contractors, site teams, and internal project stakeholders.<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Deliver &amp; Own</h4>
You will support the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of solar PV projects across KSA.
You will:<ul><li>
Support project planning, mobilisation, and site readiness activities.</li><li>
Review drawings, technical documents, method statements, material submittals, and inspection requirements.</li><li>
Coordinate day-to-day site activities with EPC contractors and subcontractors.</li><li>
Monitor site progress, track issues, and escalate risks, delays, or quality concerns.</li><li>
Maintain project trackers, including RFIs, technical queries, drawing revisions, submittals, action logs, and punch lists.</li><li>
Support HSE compliance, site inspections, toolbox talks, permit-to-work processes, and corrective action follow-up.</li><li>
Conduct quality checks across mounting structures, DC and AC works, inverter installation, switchgear, and grid connection interfaces.</li><li>
Support commissioning, close-out documentation, as-built records, O&amp;M manuals, warranties, and handover activities.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
️ What You Must Bring</h4>
To be successful in this role, you must have:<ul><li>
Saudi Nationality, in line with Saudization / nationalisation requirements.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering may also be considered.</li><li>
2&ndash;4 years&rsquo; experience in project engineering, site engineering, or construction coordination for EPC or infrastructure projects.</li><li>
At least 2 years&rsquo; experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects.</li><li>
Hands-on experience supporting solar PV project execution, including site coordination, installation monitoring, quality inspections, commissioning support, and contractor follow-up.</li><li>
Practical understanding of PV system components, DC and AC works, mounting structures, inverters, grid interconnection, testing, and commissioning requirements.</li><li>
Experience reviewing drawings, layouts, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and as-built documentation.</li><li>
Practical experience with PVsyst, AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera P6, and MS Office 365.</li><li>
Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across KSA.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Strong Advantage</h4>
We would especially like to hear from candidates who also have:<ul><li>
C&amp;I grid-tied solar PV experience, preferably in the 1 MW&ndash;10 MW range.</li><li>
BESS or hybrid energy project experience.</li><li>
Familiarity with SEC standards, municipality permitting, and KSA site execution requirements.</li><li>
PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management training.</li><li>

About the Role</h4>
We are looking for a Renewable Energy PV Project Manager &ndash; KSA to support the delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Experience with BESS or hybrid energy projects would be a strong advantage.
This is a hands-on project delivery role focused on the site-based execution of solar PV projects from mobilisation, EPC and subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and project controls through to quality inspections, commissioning, documentation, and handover.
Working under the direction of the VP of Execution, you will act as YDE&rsquo;s on-site representative, ensuring EPC contractors deliver safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with YDE&rsquo;s technical, contractual, HSE, and quality standards.
This role is best suited to a project professional with strong solar PV construction experience, practical engineering knowledge, and the discipline to manage daily site execution, contractor performance, project controls, variations, and reporting in a fast-moving, site-based environment.<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Deliver &amp; Own</h4>
In this role, you will support the successful delivery of commercial and industrial solar PV projects across KSA, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to YDE&rsquo;s technical and quality standards.
You will:<ul><li>
Drive day-to-day site execution, EPC and subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and issue resolution.</li><li>
Translate approved PV designs, drawings, schedules, and project plans into contractor-ready execution activities.</li><li>
Monitor EPC contractor and subcontractor performance, review look-ahead schedules, challenge recovery plans, and maintain accurate site records.</li><li>
Support project controls and contract administration activities, including contractor payment application review, milestone tracking, variation inputs, and time/cost impact assessment.</li><li>
Track critical project controls, including RFIs, technical queries, drawing revisions, submittals, procurement dependencies, risks, costs, variations, and reporting.</li><li>
Support HSE leadership on site through toolbox talks, inspections, permit-to-work processes, incident reporting, and corrective action follow-up.</li><li>
Conduct quality inspections at key hold points, including piling, racking, DC cabling, AC works, switchgear installation, and inverter commissioning.</li><li>
Support commissioning, punch-list close-out, handover documentation, and transition to Asset Management and O&amp;M teams.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">

Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects.</li><li>
Hands-on experience managing solar PV construction sites, including DC and AC electrical works, mounting structure installation, inverter commissioning, and grid interconnection.</li><li>
Strong experience coordinating EPC contractors and project subcontractors, including progress tracking, RFIs, submittals, variation inputs, payment application review, project documentation, and stakeholder communication.</li><li>
Practical experience with PVsyst, MS Project or Primavera P6, and AutoCAD.</li><li>
Working knowledge of the KSA or regional construction environment, including SEC standards, municipality permit processes, and site safety regulations.</li><li>
