This is a part-time assignment for 20 hours a week (Tues, Thurs 10 hr days) 
Key Responsibilities
As a Dentist with YesCare, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive dental care in a correctional healthcare setting. Your responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Radiographic Exams: Perform and interpret radiographic exams (X-rays) to assess dental health and diagnose conditions.</li><li>
Dental Treatment: Provide emergency and routine dental treatments, including but not limited to oral surgery, restorative dentistry, periodontal therapy, and extractions.</li><li>
Oral Health Care: Correct significant oral health issues that may impact the inmate&rsquo;s overall health and well-being.</li><li>
Referrals: Make proper referrals for procedures or treatments that cannot be performed within the facility.</li><li>
Incident Reporting: Report any unusual occurrences, accidents, or incidents to the Site or Regional Medical Director for appropriate follow-up.</li></ul>
Key Qualifications<ul><li>
Current State License: Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of employment.</li><li>
DEA Registration: Must maintain a current DEA number for prescribing controlled substances.</li><li>
Background Screening: A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required for this role.</li></ul>
