<div>This is an in-person job(not remote) in Johnson City, TN. We are seeking a skilled and experienced bookkeeper to manage all financial operations for our fast-paced construction company. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software. 
 
With a minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, you should also have a proven track record of problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. If you meet these requirements, please submit your application today!
Compensation:
$40,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Use extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software</li>
<li>Direct all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and oversee the accounts payables and receivables process</li>
<li>Process invoices, checks, and payroll accurately and on time and resolve any invoice issues</li>
<li>Be responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger, and journal entries, and prepare balance sheets and financial reports for review</li>
<li>Collaborate with the general contractor or project manager and provide detailed financial reporting to ensure costs, timeline, and budget of construction projects are accurately forecasted</li>
</ul>
<ul><li>Record financial transactions and maintain accounting records.</li><li>
Prepare and manage accounts payable and receivable.</li><li>
Prepare and analyze financial statements.</li><li>
Cost analysis and budget preparation.</li><li>
Tax filings and tax compliance.</li><li>
Internal financial reporting and analysis.</li><li>
Conduct audits and reconcile accounts.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Excellent problem solving, analytical, organization and communication skills are needed</li>
<li>Five years of previous experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry</li>
<li>Familiarity with construction accounting concepts, tax strategies, and best practices</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks</li>
</ul><ul><li>A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.</li><li>
QuickBooks Specialist is a must.</li><li>
Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP).</li><li>
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.</li></ul>
