GENERAL PURPOSE:
A journeyman automotive painter performs skilled painting activities in the production and repair of signs within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Read job orders and inspect work pieces to determine work procedures and materials required Prepares new signs, existing signs, sign cabinets, and sign lettering for painting</li><li>
Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications, using paddles or mechanical mixers</li><li>
Apply coatings, such as paint, faux finishes, to protect or decorate work piece surfaces, using spray guns, pens, or brushes</li><li>
Maintain production schedules and manage time to complete paint related tasks</li><li>
Examine finished surfaces of work pieces to verify conformance to specifications; then retouch any defective area Loads and unloads signs</li><li>
Clean and maintain work area to provide a safe and organized work environment Work safely to prevent on the job injuries following all safety regulations</li></ul>
MARGINAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Cleans and maintains equipment</li><li>
Delivers signs to Installation crew</li><li>
Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned</li></ul>

A High School Diploma or GED and two or more years of relevant experience involving demonstrated abilities in painting, including mixing and applying paints, reading blueprints and work orders; or any combination of training, education and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills.<ul><li>
Knowledge involving mixing and spraying paints and color theory is required</li><li>
Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities to meet critical deadlines, as well as working independently</li><li>
Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person on telephone</li><li>
Ability to operate computer, telephone, and other office equipment</li><li>
Strong math skills and the ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and specifications</li><li>
Strong work ethic with an enthusiastic, positive attitude, and the highest level of integrity</li><li>
Maintain regular and timely attendance</li><li>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li></ul>

GENERAL PURPOSE: 
Coordinates the procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for the organization. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Coordinates all activities related to procurement of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies beginning with intent to purchase through delivery</li><li>
Analyzes the requirements of the materials, parts, equipment, and supplies, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date needed</li><li>
Solicits and evaluates proposals for the requested materials, parts, equipment, and supplies</li><li>
Investigates and/or interviews potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements</li><li>
Advises team members or management on the appropriate supplier to be used</li><li>
Negotiates the lowest possible cost for the materials, parts, equipment, and supplies balanced against the optimum quality and schedule needs</li><li>
Implements purchase orders and contracts that comply with company and government regulations</li><li>
Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standards of the company</li><li>
Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records</li><li>
Coordinates appropriate methods needed to distribute materials, parts, equipment, and supplies in a cost effective manner</li></ul> 
MARGINAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Resolve purchase order and contract issues</li><li>
Manages and resolves quality control issues</li><li>
Researches discrepancies between materials, parts, equipment, and supplies delivered against orders and/or invoicing</li><li>
Maintains data in the YESCO database</li><li>
Reviews new technologies, materials, and products for possible future use</li><li>
Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.</li></ul> 
NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:<ul><li>
Interacts daily with vendors both in-person, electronically, and on the telephone working to procure materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for sign projects</li><li>
Interacts daily with employees in the field and in the office to discuss materials, parts, equipment, and supplies needs</li></ul>
