Permanent Substitute Teacher - Early Childhood/Elementary

Elementary Math/Enrichment Teacher &ndash; Part-TimeOverview Yeshiva Har Torah is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Elementary Math/Enrichment Teacher for the 2025&ndash;2026 school year. This part-time position can be scheduled either in the morning or afternoon, with available hours of approximately 8:40 AM&ndash;12:50 PM or 11:30 AM&ndash;3:30 PM. The position entails teaching either mainstream elementary mathematics, or teaching enrichment mathematics classes. The ideal candidate will foster mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Teach elementary-level math or provide enrichment instruction to small groups of students.</li><li>Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.</li><li>Foster a student-centered learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and math exploration.</li><li>Utilize technology, manipulatives, and varied instructional strategies to enhance learning experiences.</li><li>Assess student progress using diverse assessment tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success and school-wide initiatives.</li><li>Maintain clear, professional communication with students, parents, and staff.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li><li>Prior teaching experience preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of elementary mathematical concepts and mathematical reasoning.</li><li>Ability to create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and classroom management skills.</li><li>Commitment to professional growth and collaborative practice.</li></ul>Join our team and inspire students to build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation in mathematics!Job Type: Part-timePay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
