<p>
The School Aged Child Care Program Staff is responsible for planning, leading, and implementing recreational and creative experiences for school age children in a group setting. The incumbent provides high quality recreational experiences for school aged children that focus on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.</p><br>

</p><p><b>2.</b> <b>Essential Functions:</b></p><br>

<ul><li>
Assist with the writing and implementation of weekly lesson plans.</li><li>
Organize and lead a variety of activities appropriate for school age children. Activities may include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, enrichment activities, etc.</li><li>
Ensure that the site is kept clean and organized.</li><li>
Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, daily rosters, logbook documentation, and attendance records.</li><li>
Assist in completing child and program evaluations.</li><li>
Maintain CACFP and Minnesota Department of Health Licensing for meals and snacks, if applicable.</li></ul><br>

3.</b> <b>Relationships:</b></div>
<p>
This position reports to the Site Director who reports to the Program Director/Sr. Coordinator. The incumbent interacts regularly with children, parents, and staff members from diverse backgrounds.</p><br>

4.</b> <b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<p><i>
Required:
</i></p><ul><li>Minimum age of 16.</li><li>
Complete required YMCA trainings within 30 days of hire.</li><li>
Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.</li><li>
Good skills in communication, organization, and human relations.</li><li>
Willingness to work with diverse populations</li></ul>
<p><i>
Preferred:</i></p>
<ul><li>
Previous experience working with school age children.</li><li>
Knowledge of CACFP Program requirements</li></ul></div><br>

Must be able to actively participate in youth games/activities which include getting in the water during swimming.
</li><li>Ability to travel locally to YMCA branches and other program sites.</li><li>
Perform all physical aspects of the position, including moving around, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.</li><li>
Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/dangerous situations.</li><li>
Must be able to remain alert in warm to hot environment for prolonged period which may include indoor pool, outdoor activities, bus rides, etc.</li><li>
May be exposed to verbal outbursts, physical actions or bodily fluids as part of the childcare environment.</li></ul><br>

</b></p><p>The Multimedia Producer &amp; Photographer is responsible for creating visually compelling content that tells the YMCA of the North&rsquo;s story across all platforms. This creative-technical role will lead high-quality video, photo, and livestream productions from concept through final delivery. Responsible to capture professional photography for campaigns, produce agency-level video content for marketing and leadership initiatives, and manage livestream studios to ensure consistent quality and reliability. This position combines creative vision, technical expertise, and storytelling excellence to help grow the YMCA brand and elevate member engagement.</p><br>

2.</b> <b>Essential Functions:</b></p>
<p><b>
Photography &amp; Visual Storytelling</b></p>
<ul><li>
Capture high-quality photography for YMCA programs, campaigns, and marketing materials.</li><li>
Conduct both studio and on-location shoots across camps, aquatics, sports, wellbeing, ForeverWell, and other programs.</li><li>
Edit, retouch, and color-correct imagery for digital, print, and advertising use.</li><li>
Maintain consistent brand identity and visual tone across all photo assets.</li></ul>
<p><b>
Video &amp; Livestream Production</b></p>
<ul><li>
Lead video projects from concept to completion: planning, filming, editing, and final delivery.</li><li>
Produce agency-level videos for marketing campaigns, internal communications, and executive storytelling.</li><li>
Direct on-camera talent and guide subject matter experts to capture authentic, compelling performances.</li><li>
Operate, manage, and troubleshoot livestream production systems for Virtual Y and other digital platforms.</li><li>
Schedule, coordinate, and execute livestream events, ensuring consistent quality and brand alignment.</li></ul>

Studio Operations &amp; Technical Readiness</b></p>

Maintain and troubleshoot studio equipment, lighting, and audio systems.</li><li>

Post-Production &amp; Asset Management</b></p>

Create and apply motion graphics templates to maintain a cohesive visual identity across YMCA content.</li><li>
Manage media organization, metadata, and archival for efficient reuse across campaigns.</li></ul>

Collaboration &amp; Creative Strategy</b></p>

Partner with Marketing, Communications, and Executive leaders to plan and deliver content that supports key initiatives.</li><li>
Participate in creative concepting sessions and provide input on campaign visual strategy.</li><li>
Mentor team members and contractors in creative production best practices.</li></ul>

Leadership and Collaboration:</b></p>

Team Development: Mentor and guide contractors and team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative production environment.</li><li>
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with operations, executives, and cross-functional teams to produce video content for diverse audiences, including members, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.</li><li>
Best Practices Development: Establish and maintain industry-leading standards for video production, storytelling, and digital marketing strategies.</li></ul><br>

This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Digital Experience and Design who reports to the SVP of Strategy and Marketing. This role interacts regularly with instructors, program leaders and staff at all levels of the organization, including marketing and fitness teams. Work direction may also come from leaders in Marketing and Fitness.</p><br>

4.</b> <b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<p><i>
Required</i></p>
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Film, Photography, Media Arts, or related field; demonstrated experience in professional video/photography production may be considered in lieu of degree.</li><li>
Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading video and photo projects for marketing, storytelling, or brand campaigns.</li><li>
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop).</li><li>
Strong proficiency with professional cameras (Sony, Blackmagic), lighting, and audio equipment.</li><li>
Proven ability to lead projects from concept through completion with strong storytelling, composition, and project management skills.</li><li>
Experience with livestream production and platforms (e.g., Vimeo, Livestream Studio).</li><li>
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.</li><li>
Ability to adapt to new technologies and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.</li></ul>
