<div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make a real difference in the lives of young children? The Haverhill YMCA is seeking an EEC-Certified Preschool Teacher to join our After School Preschool Program at our new location in Georgetown!</h3>
Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, 2:00 PM&ndash;6:00 PM 
Location: Penn Brook Elementary School - Georgetown MA
As a Preschool Teacher, you will:<ul><li>
Create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for preschool-aged children after their school day.</li><li>
Plan and lead activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and early learning.</li><li>
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.</li></ul>

What You&rsquo;ll Bring to the Team:<ul><li>
Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Meet Teacher qualifications as determined by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).</li><li>
A solid understanding of children&rsquo;s growth and development&mdash;and the creativity to turn this knowledge into engaging, age-appropriate activities!</li></ul>
 Requirements Before You Start:<ul><li>
Complete EEC fingerprinting prior to your first day.</li><li>
Keep all required documents and certifications current in your educator file.</li><li>
Complete all trainings, certifications, and program orientation following EEC and YMCA of the North Shore guidelines.</li><li>
Maintain current Infant/Child CPR &amp; First Aid certification.</li></ul>
Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands: 
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 
Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching, and transitioning between sitting (including sitting on the floor!) and standing. 
Willing to spend time outdoors in all seasons. 
Able to react quickly and appropriately to the unpredictable actions of young children.
Pay range depends on your experience level and position qualifications.
