Job Summary:
Manage accounting department and general ledger to assure the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting functions and manage the salary payroll function.
Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>
Manage all accounting functions including payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for all companies within YCC</li><li>
Maintain general ledger including analysis during the year</li><li>
Assist with closing process each accounting period and prepare the interim financial statements</li><li>
Assist with the presentation of the financial statements to management along with analysis of actual versus previous year and budget</li><li>
Calculate periodic sales commissions and process payment through payroll</li><li>
Maintain item cost file</li><li>
Assist HR in administration of employee benefits
</li><li>Approve all pricing from our paper suppliers</li><li>
Monitor payroll tax reports and payments</li><li>
Prepare annual budgets-working with various departments within the company</li><li>
Assist with annual audit preparation and the audit process including the many analysis required by the outside audit firm.</li><li>
Prepare monthly analysis of &ldquo;key&rdquo; costs and provide analysis</li><li>
Prepare cost analysis as necessary to evaluate potential savings</li><li>
Manage fixed assets and depreciation records</li><li>
Assist in evaluation of payroll, benefit, and accounting vendors</li><li>
Manage and cost major inventory levels</li></ul>
Other Functions:<ul><li><ul><li>
Be knowledgeable of all accounting positions and their duties</li><li>
Assist management in evaluating capital expenditures.</li></ul></li></ul>

The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required and assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Degree in accounting or finance.
</li><li>A minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.</li><li>
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations</li><li>
Knowledge of GAAP requirements and tax laws a plus</li><li>
Must be able to maintain confidentiality</li><li>
Must be able to multi-task</li><li>
Strong verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills</li><li>
Ability to manage others</li></ul>
Machines/Tools/Equipment:
Computer, basic office equipment (copier, printer, calculator, fax, etc.)
