Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist - Responsible for performing patient specimen collection and wide range of clinical laboratory testing, evaluating patient test results for abnormalities, maintaining equipment and analyzers, and communicating with patients and health care personnel. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Medical Technology required.

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist, you&rsquo;ll play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients by conducting accurate lab testing across multiple disciplines. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

<li>Collecting and labeling patient specimens properly, including DOT-regulated urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing.
</li>
<li>Verifying specimens, test orders, and patient identification with precision and accuracy.
</li>
<li>Performing a wide range of diagnostic laboratory tests using established methodologies and procedures.
</li>
<li>Maintaining lab instruments through regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
</li>
<li>Evaluating test results for accuracy and consistency using delta checks and other quality indicators.
</li>
<li>Answering technical questions regarding test methodology, specificity, and sensitivity in a professional and timely manner.
</li>
<li>Participating in the evaluation and implementation of new testing procedures, equipment, and protocols.</li></ul> 

What You'll Bring:

<li>ASCP certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist is strongly encouraged.
