The ideal candidate for this role will be collaborative, creative, organized, agile and have excellent analysis and communication skills. We are looking for a leader with broad technical, commercial, strategic sourcing, program management and business development experience.
 
OVERVIEW
 This person will serve as a member of York’s Business Development and Proposals team, while reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain. This position requires executive presence and commercial experience to lead cross functional teams and manage very large supplier relationships.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 This position will be embedded into the BD team with responsibility to lead Payload supplier strategic sourcing process and support BD in developing sourcing scenario options in support of new BD quoting scenarios.
 <ul>
<li>Collaborate with SC and cross functional teams to develop and utilize product and supplier strategies while managing strategic supplier relationships with large payload suppliers.</li>
<li>Lead BD team to evaluate and select Payload suppliers to participate in quoting process.</li>
<li>Lead BD team in RFX process and evaluation of multiple Payload supplier scenarios creating financial cost models and recommendations supporting BD business cases for sourcing and quoting scenarios.</li>
<li>Lead strategic bids and sensitive communications of commercially strategic and classified information.</li>
<li>Collaborate with SC and Lead the sourcing portion of the Business Development Process for new business opportunities.</li>
