QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent education requiredPreferred: 1 year of paralegal experienceMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, attorneys and staff.Ability to talk, listen and speak clearly on the phone and through written communications.Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Adobe)Must be able to work under and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude, exemplary customer service, and client confidentiality. Ability to carry out assignments to completion within deadlines, parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.ResponsibilitiesAs a paralegal, you will perform a variety of paralegal, secretarial and administrative tasks in our friendly, collaborative and team-oriented culture.You will support 3 attorneys by assisting with case planning, client communication, document and information research, and drafting and filing legal documents.Manage attorney calendars to ensure that all deadlines are met.Review files and confer with attorneys to discuss the status of the file as well as upcoming deadlines.Assist attorneys with preparing for client meetings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and court hearings.DictationMaintaining client files both electronic and physical filesDuties will be performed in a friendly, supportive and professional office environmentBENEFITS:Holiday Paid Time OffSick PayGraduated Paid Vacation401 K Match8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule (with reasonable flexibility) with a lunch break.Wage: Based on ExperienceJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
